I would use an example of- I love my children with all my heart, all my soul, al my mind. But I can still sin against them, have arguments with them, handle situations the wrong way, and have to end up apologizing to them. We don’t do everything right and our emotions get the best of us sometimes, but my love for them never decreases even in any of those moments.

I just bought the Dictionary of Early Christian Beliefs for my husband for Christmas. In addition there is an Ancient Faith study bible with the commentary taken from the early church fathers and placed with the verses they were writing about. Can you give me advice as to if this is a good resource. I am concerned as it was published by the Baptist convention but if they have not skewed it by only using the quotes that support their doctrine this is a reference we would love to have. I generally do not like study bibles as I do not like the addition of man's interpretation to the Word but this seems appealing for the purpose of studying the writings of the church fathers. I would truly appreciate your honest opinion on this.

Just found out about this Live Event a few days too late. When will you folks have your next live Q&A? I’d love to reconnect with David (he and I had connected through email years ago), and ask him about some hard to understand concepts I am wrestling with from Ezekiel 36, )The New Heart, New Spirit), and how that may relate to Falling Away, and The Parable of the Prodigal Son. Thank you kindly.

Does David bercot endorse the homosexual sins of Peter Hoover which resulted in him being excommunicated last year from City Light and his previous Hutterite colony just last year? I noticed his writings are still on the Scroll Publishing website.

I emailed scroll publishing for you and asked your question, Here's the response: "Thank you for letting us know that we still had "Peter Hoover" books on our website. We had meant to remove them. We have removed them now. No, we believe that Peter has sinned and needs to repent of his sins. thank and God Bless, Scroll Publishing Company"

@@SamuelPeterJoseph thank you. I enjoyed Peter Hoover's insight on topics and his willingness to go his own way and not conform to the culture around him. I pray he has repented of any sins he has committed. I have plenty of sins I have needed to repent of and I pray that any sins I have committed which I haven't taken ownership of are revealed to me. May the Lord be magnified.

Martin Luther also wrote this: “Mary is the highest woman and the noblest gem in Christianity after Christ… She is nobility, wisdom, and holiness personified. We can never honor her enough. Still honor and praise must be given to her in such a way as to injure neither Christ nor the Scriptures.” “God has formed the soul and body of the Virgin Mary full of the Holy Spirit, so that she is without all sins, for she has conceived and borne the Lord Jesus.” “Christ, our Savior, was the real and natural fruit of Mary’s virginal womb… This was without the cooperation of a man, and she remained a virgin after that. […] Christ… was the only Son of Mary, and the Virgin Mary bore no children besides Him.” “She became the Mother of God, in which work so many and such great good things are bestowed on her as pass man’s understanding. For on this there follows all honor, all blessedness, and her unique place in the whole of mankind, among which she has no equal, namely, that she had a child by the Father in heaven, and such a Child…. “Hence men have crowded all her glory into a single word, calling her the Mother of God…. None can say of her nor announce to her greater things, even though he had as many tongues as the earth possesses flowers and blades of grass: the sky, stars; and the sea, grains of sand. It needs to be pondered in the heart what it means to be the Mother of God.”

@@Benjamin-jo4rf Digusting? And what of Luther's doctrines of Faith Alone and Bible Alone? Where is your divine guarantee for deciding if a doctrine is divine or of men?
