I love foggy day! I am in the Connecticut, USA. I live close to the Thames River where it mets the Long Island Sound. It can get foggy for days at some times of the year. The fog makes everything look other worldly. Although my arthacts up on damp days, I still love foggy days. You just have to be more aware where driving. It's the same with yououton your narrowboat. Thanks for the foggy day vlog! 🙂
Aww glad you enjoyed. I don’t mind a bit of fog. Definitely atmospheric. Can understand the damp isn’t great if you suffer arthritis though. Didn’t enjoy driving to work that day though 😮. Have a fab weekend ❤
Great vlog. Love how atmospheric it was in the fog but can imagine a little nerve wracking when coming up to bridges. Sound was fantastic too with the new mic. I’m sure Liam will stay in touch with us all once the build has finished…..after all, we are #oakuksfamily ❤❤

Could almost be a Halloween Vlog with the fog. The new mike was brilliant. I'd forgotten / didnt know/ didnt realise/ didnt read my notifications/ etc etc about the 5 min Friday vlog, came across it by accident, pleased I did. You are sensible enough to know you would be ok cruising, ---besides which all tthe other sensible boaters would have been moored so no traffic lol. Enjoyable 5 mins that stretched to 11 thank you x
You were brave Paul taking on the fog it was a real pea souper as we used to say. That’s so cool that they have started making some woodwork for the new boat looking forward to seeing the progress.

Wow, that was thick fog. I can remember boating early in the mornings when we went out fishing and it is scary. And, it is good to know the area, cause lights are just no good to "cut through" that thick stuff. Take care out there, you, Anthony and Dexter. Stay safe.

What a coincidence...it was our anniversary on the 13th...and my granddaughter got married on the 15th. I love a good foggy morning, it always seems to dampen any noises and provide an excellent atmosphere. Excellent cruise. Enjoyed the new mic. Thank you. Cheers.
You’re right Paul, it really is like Ghost Ship! It has its own beauty but must be quite unnerving trying to navigate such a long boat when you can only see 4 times its length 😮 Well done!
Very atmospheric! I love fog. I think it's cool you carried on. I guess the only downside is related to visibility ahead, avoiding other boats and debris in the water. My Dad lived in San Francisco for a few years and I was visiting him when one of their famous fogs rolled in. Absolutely loved it!

I love fog or to be honest love looking at it from the window. It was difficult to navigate but can’t believe how many people were out on there boats x
Wow Paul very foggy but very beautiful. I’m trying to find a photo from one of our narrowboat holidays to have printed on the side of a privacy screen for the caravan, something like that would be lovely but so foggy I suspect not very clear. I’d love one of a narrowboat in the snow but that could be breach of copyright. Oh well I do have a lovely one of our own I can use. Great vlog Paul you did so well especially being alone, scary. 💕

I miss fog! Your footage got me remembering during my early 20s driving along highway besides Pacific Ocean. Put on my fog lights on and travel at low speed just like you had for your boat. Wow great to hear your new boat’s update! Exciting for the new boat. What’s your plan with the current boat? Is it on the market now?

Five minute Friday lasted over eleven! Bonus !! Never feel you need to apologise for moving your boat, it’s up to you when you move it and you have your reasons. You’re only doing a few miles an hour , unlike the nutters on the motorway 🤪☮️

Brr looks chilly. Today is like it to, 29th October 2022. I would love my own boat. But I am a wage slave and have a full-time job...plus I love gadgets too much and would drain all the batteries.
It was chilly. Yesterday was beautiful but very grey again today. Aww it took a massive leap of faith for us to give up a lot of the stuff we had. We love a gadget but we prefer not having to work as many hours and the boat life. Hope you are good ❤

@@anthonysmith-storey9247 I was pulling onto a highway in very thick fog once and got hit so it's pretty terrifying to me even all these years later. I couldn't see him and he couldn't see me and neither of us should have been on the road at all---but they do expect you at work no matter what. o glad I don't have to deal with any of that anymore. Paul did good but I'm sure he was nervous. Loved the photo of Morning Star on the Pontcysyllte. ❤I'm doing well. 🤗
