Thief: Deadly Shadows Expert, 100% Loot in  

I remember the asylum level being scarier than a lot of horror games. This game really is a masterpiece.

Two giants, roused from slumber, two blades clashing. Each blames the other...for what the Thief has done.

i like it just a thief speedjumping through places alerting everyone to his presence but nobody can catch him so he robs the place blind in two minutes and leaves unscratched hey that's a good thing for a fantasy story

I can't even find words to describe how pity fact, the Thief DS got so little attention. This is a really wonderful game in everything. Plot, gameplay, characters, lore... I do not like to find fault with the graphics in games, but in this one the graphics are also very good (in 2004!). Why didn't it become popular? And yeah, this run is exciting!

I played this with the Sneaky upgrade so I could tweak the difficulty to be really high. But the thing about TTDP is that when you hug walls (forget what the mechanic is called) AI can barely detect you. So long as I had enough shadow and a wall, most assailants run right by me. It didn’t break the game, but it made some areas very easy. I really love this game. My first Thief game. It will always have a place in my heart.

What platform are you playing this on? I noticed you still have to load certain level areas, whereas thief3 sneaky upgrade all the levels are integrated

very impressive

this game is way more fun while using your flash bombs, water arrows, and moss arrows to get by enemies while looting the areas as quickly as possible too. Can't play this completely stealthy anymore. lol. Gotta do everything fast in this game to bring out the fun.

This one had a glitzy atmosphere that is fantastically immersive. My gripe with it is the physics were clunky and I always felt like a box blundering through a ballpark. All things considered, it was an addition that I rather enjoyed. If Thi4F had been less linear, staying true to T1/T2 formula, it would have been perfect. I'm currently working on Thief2x, playing as Zaya isn't the same, but it's cool.

When I would play this I always put the brightness setting on bright enough to actually see and I wondering if it wouldn’t speed up your play as well.

I want to add. There is a mod that removes loading screen between the zones. That way you can get even higher scores

One of the greatest games ever made. I know that fans of the 2 originals on PC ( Thief: The Dark Project & Thief II) would disagree, but for those of us who only got to play the console game (Thief: Deadly Shadows) there is nothing else like it ... a masterpiece. The game that came out in 2014, "Thief 4" is rubbish ...they made it too linear, took out the magic, took out the monsters and took out any reference to the back story lore ...in other words another boring, real-life assassins creed -em-up!

Liked this game. It was only to easy. Thief 2 was better.
