A lot of these jobs be inside jobs! It’s not safe anymore to record. People will hurt you if they see your recorded or you may end up hurting someone to save your life. They need to bring in the National Guard for some of these Cities including mine. Bottom line is most companies have insurance don’t risk your safety or life.

Hunt's Point NY had a big problem with this. It's a produce market. Even in the 80's when you go off the freeway you did not stop for any red lights. People there knew trucks weren't stopping and stopped at green lights to let trucks through. I haven't been there in over 25 years, I refuse to go to NYC. So it may be the same today.

Before I retired I hauled freight for Intel. If I had EVER been found to leave my trailer door unlocked, it might have been the end of my job. We were taught to always keep the doors locked, and pay close attention to potential high jackers (especially when the truck is stopped)

I was never a union driver, but drove local and some long haul for over 25 years. I fail to see how things have "changed" since I retired in 2007. Trailers, their doors and the locks haven't changed. And if the bad guys found a 'new' way of opening doors while you wait at a traffic light? It *STILL* comes down to driver awareness. _.....'buckwheat'._

I used Massive locks on both doors and locked my trailer loaded or empty. My eyes are constantly moving watching every vehicle that is in my drive zone and vehicles that are moving towards my drive zone, especially in stop and go traffic and definitely when you are approaching a light. Situational awareness is an absolute must.
