Tommy, bodywork is a art. Its not something you do once, nail it and move on. Some people spend years doing it, and still never do it "right", but the thing is, you actually got in there, and did it. Maybe its not perfect, but its a great accomplishment. The more you do, the more you learn and better you get, just like building a engine, or cutting a light. Good job!
You two are so fun to watch! Been missing the G2G vids, nice to see some updates again! Keep it up and just keep learning, it’s just gonna make the next project that much better!
You're being way too hard on yourself, I get it. You're putting yourself out there in front of the public. And nobody's perfect the first 2-3 times around , The biggest thing that you have to put in your mind is that you're trying. And that's what matters. And your learning.
Tommy, this is more relatable to people than you know. Most of us struggle with having the time or the money for a project build. Don't be so hard on yourself, and keep doing what you're doing.
Tommy and Allison your killing it!! Most of the hater’s have never tried to do what you have done. Keep sharing the progress. Remember the more you try the more you learn.
With everything you have had on your plate, I personally think you have done great so far. You are making progress and taking your time to apply what you have learned while continuing to learn. Love the content.
Dude I love the fact your building a obs i have a 91 little different style tho mine is a cruiser an is on air bags like but your literally building my dream truck dude like I hope to see more on you obs it's definitely helping motivate me I'm looking for a single cab obs to do something similar to you thank you Tommy you guys are the best
These kids are doing great not everyone would put themselves out there showing there learning curve there doing a great job while gaining great experience… Don’t forget the like button 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Tommy give yourself credit you are a smart kid and a great driver. Yes you deserve all the credit but without your better half what would you do. You got a special woman there. Don't ever let her go. Don't rush anything. That's when mistakes happen. You'll get that truck running again soon enough and I'm sure it's going to be a great truck. Have a great day and a safe day. Enjoy what you do because tomorrow isn't a guarantee. Just a little hello from somebody in Southwest Kansas. Keep up the good work buddy
Doing what you are doing is how you learn !! The school of hard knocks memories sticks with you for life and make you a better person from it. You guys are doing great just don't give up keep moving forward !!!
Tommy ,don't worry about what people say/ think , you are the one at the end of the day who has to build it and deal with it ,so do you.. I'm a obs man myself, so let's stop back footing and get this beast on its own weight/ 4 wheels. Tommy ,make this truck RUN !!!
Great video, love the build videos ..most people take alot of time because of busy life and lack of money aswell so this is relatable to more people than you know!!
Tommy you’re a lucky man. Not only is she beautiful but she isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty and get work done and to top it all off she can drive a race car better then most men.
Tommy' ,Allison very impressive your knowledge and experience is really coming along Thanx for sharing your experience with your work Have a Great Day 👍
You're too humble Tommy. You do great. Most stuff you have to do everyday for a living to become good at it. You're a badass you just don't know it. For real. You have excellent qualities and values don't change. Awesome job Buddy. Best of luck. Take Care!!!
Great video Tommy and Allison you got to just do you and stop worrying what everyone else says you to make a great team keep the great videos coming 😊😊😊
Experience is what you get after you need it! I'm 100% sure a feller has done hundreds of these, not his first! Just keep being you, I'm learning right along with you!
Not to tell you what to do with your truck but if you wipe the area with a red scotch bright before you prime / paint the paint will stick better. If you don’t the print may peel later down the road.
Dude you are doing such a great job on this truck. It will look fine when it’s all finished up. It is definitely something to be proud of. For never doing this before it will be fine. It will be fine. lol.
Looks pretty good to me Tommy. It doesn’t have to be a show truck to have fun with it. It’s a big project. You’re fortunate to have such a wonderful woman in your corner as well.
Tommy, you cut yourself short, you're doing a great job, you guys work great together, and like the comments below, don't worry about what other people are saying.
Head up young man. You are doing great. You are building it and not paying to have it built. Down the road you can always take it and have it redone if you so choose. Keep up the great work. I really enjoy your videos.
Tommy, the guy from vice grip garage has years into sprucing up old cars on a budget. Dont get discouraged easily ! Youre doing a great job ! Theres a learning process in everything you do in life. Learn from mistakes, and keep going. You got this !
Very impressed with both of you. Tommy you're doing great. You have plenty of time to get better and perfect your craft. What you're doing now for your age is truly amazing you're absorbing knowledge like a sponge. Both of you have grown so much since the start of the show. By far, you guys are my favorites😊 Hang tough 💯
Vicegrip has been doing that stuff a long time man don't kid yourself you're doing a great job and learning along the way. Keep it up can't wait to see this thing finally come together
You are doing great.. I've been doing body work and paint for 30+ years... I have seen socalled professionals hack through jobs. Remember you are a rookie, it takes time to learn this trade and not being afraid to try is your best skill right now. Keep your head up and keep trying and moving forward... who care what others think behind their keyboards... their probably not working on anything
Not a single mistake has been made! You guys are learning and doing this all on your own and there is something huge to say about that! Keep it going and can’t wait to see what is next!
I think you're kicking ass Tommy. You wont care about that paint when you and Allison are cruising down the road during Sick Week. Keep your head up buddy
Tommy just keep doing what you are doing and just keep learning. One day you will look back and be like that was fun. As others have said don’t worry about other people’s opinion just keep doing what makes you happy.
I think it's all important some of us like racing and some like building. So keep doing what you're doing cause I was happy to learn about two pretty cool companies that I'm definitely liking their product, so thank you . GOD BLESS .
Weather or not that your trying to hard is not the issue the issue is you don't give yourself enough credit we all give you more credit than you do so if we have faith in you so should you besides as long as you are happy with the end result that's all that should matter. Take your time like you have been and it will be fine. Thanks for sharing your updates. God bless and as always be safe.
Being the witty guy that you always are I just knew when you were reading the instructions that said install at 6 o’clock, you were gonna say “well it’s 9:00 so we have to come back tomorrow at 6’!!! 😊 Keep on keeping on. You are doing great!
🤣🤣🤣 literally went to an Ad when you snapped your fingers. Those are some really nice parts that you're putting on the OBS, parts that I didn't even know existed.
I'm with you 100% on the manual steering ! I've raced roundy-round on asphalt, dirt, and even ice, and you can't "feel" the track as well with power steering !
I think you are doing great don’t worry about what people say. Everyone has to learn and the best way to learn is to jump in and do it. Half the people that talk shit have no idea what they’re even talking about so keep up the great work. I think it’s awesome bro!!! Even if you make mistakes remember mistakes are knowledge!!! Can’t wait to see it done! Thanks for the great content
Thanks for new video😊 like watching build videos most of us are in same place you are getting parts as we go cause can't afford to buy everything at once
Head up Kiddo. We all had to start somewhere. Now just don't stop. Keep putting what spare time into learning and you'll be as good as them folks up at House of Pearls. They had to start somewhere too.
I've always made them fast before pretty personally but you're doing it the right way as you see fit which is always better! Can't wait for the next update on it's progress 👍 Allison is in deep debt with ol Jeffafa LOL 🤣
There is self depriciation and there is self abuse. For doing your first by yourself with a whole lot of help from Miss Allison... YOU ARE DOING AN AMAZING JOB!! Dont ever sell yourself short, you are learning the hard way, and sometimes that is better than watching and learning. In the end you will appreciate the end product with much more satisfaction in knowing that the next build will be easier. It is also truly wonderful seeing you both back on your own projects... along with some improvements on Clifford. I do have one question though... Since you are moving into big blocks for next season, does this mean that Miss Allison will be moving into the Falcon??? We love the two of you, and cannot wait to see more on the OBS as well as the Dart. Much love n prayers from my family to the two of you.🙏💜
Never count out Tommy and Allison The Underdogs will always Prevail love you guys❤ Tommy the local paint store can put the same paint in a 16 oz can give them your code
Tommy, your work looks a hell of a lot better than many others I've seen. Really good body work takes time, something you don't have if you want to take your truck to Sick Week so you're doing a 20 20 job. It looks good at 20 feet as long as they don't look longer than 20 seconds. Also look at it like this, at least all your body panels will match.
If it's worth doing it's worth doing right the first time you're getting by with what you have maybe a good cab will come your way eventually do the best with what you have for now Tommy you and Allison are doing a great job y'all set your own pace ,Jeff maybe meticulous but there's a lot less mistakes that way safety first guys take care.
Tommy just keep doing you buddy. The ole racers I know always said it's not the best looking race car you gotta worry about it's the guy still rocking primer exposed body work little rust whatever that you gotta worry about because that person put their money where it counts. That trucks gonna be something you'll be proud of and down the road when you decide to re do it again you'll have more knowledge and ability. Keep going buddy, don't forget to thank everyone who helps along your journey good vibes comes back to you.
T2G, your doing a great job! The sooner you dont give a 💩 what other people think the happier you will be. 🤔 I bet 90% of the haters can't even change their oil let alone build a street truck. Keep up the good work, it will all pay off soon! 🔦🏁💰🤑🇺🇸
You are not alone Tommy , I prefer manual steering my self I have a 1954 Chevrolet and I love how the manual steering feels ,I can feel the road when I drive
Hey man be proud that YOU did it tommy. Most people would never even try it much less donit and post it on the internet. You cant be proficient without first being a beginner. Good work man. Love this type of video. Lots of talking telling us about whst you have done and will do plus explanations of parts and solutions to issues like the brakes or coilovers. I love a obs chevy. Drive one daily. Cant wait to see more.
