Wow.. I literally got chills and teared up when I saw this car. My Dad loved this car, unfortunately he passed away last year, but I still have the magazine this car was featured in on October 5th 2016. Jeff, you and your friend did an amazing job putting it back together, if I ever get to meet you have to Autograph it for me.
Oooooooohhhh man! I knew Ron personally and he followed one of my Dart builds years ago which motivated his Dart Vader build. He was in my town for work or visiting family, and he came over to my house for a few hours to hang out. Great dude.....we lost touch, and I am so bummed to hear of his passing.
Please I would like to hear more about Ron. People are starting to see this car and I owe it to him to learn all about him. he sounds like a great guy and i wish I could've met him
Jeff, very humble comment. You are all great people. Happy to see you care for the car and want to learn more of its builder. It’s really great to see you more involved with this channel. Best of luck with the car!
Thank you both. Cars like that are more than chunks of metal. This car has a soul, an attitude and a great story behind it. It’s a very strange series of coincidences and connections that led to it to my door. Ron will ride forever in Dart Vader.
@@jeffkovalik7395 First off, congrats on such a beautiful car! But if you don't run that car in the low 4's, this summer Ron will be rolling in his grave ;) make him proud!!
Jeff Thank you for bringing the Dart Vader back to life it looks awesome I grew up with him n we race together all the time watch that car go thru many different builds till the it become the Vader Thank you for giving some of the history on car and it is one badass ride n fast enjoy it
I’m hoping they keep it! It would be definitely sad if it got sold off. The whole family deserves it ❤. Allison’s face while sitting in it is priceless. I’d love to see her work her way up to wheeling that badass car down the track!!
11:02 when he showed Allison how to turn it on, after it lit…the smiles on both their faces tells it allllll. Car goes nowhere without Allison in it next. Rights of progression.
Allison needs to start now with the sad puppy dog eyes saying but Daddy I really really want that car 😂😂😂😂😂 yall don’t let that car get out the family is still beautiful and badass
One thing's for sure,, Allison's Dart is in it's early stages of construction. Time and CASH,, LOTS of BOTH can get you a Dart like the Dart Vader. You go girl,, you're doing fine!
@@tylerwhite4743 It is true and I'm guessing you don't have a fast car or go to the track. Hell just watch street outlaws and you'll see the Procharger issues. Turbos are on oem vehicles since they are reliable, you ever see a factory Procharger car? 🤣
@mrnastytime420 Procharger is the brand name of a supercharger genius, and if you bothered watching NPK last year the supercharged cars were a lot more successful than the tubo cars
Jeff I swear if you start taking it apart to restore it to stock I'm gonna drive there and shake my finger at you...and from where I'm at its a long long drive for me!
Pretty cool how Vicki will record and everyone comes together to see something that brings families together! Awesome story and let’s see that thing at the track
I am not a Mopar man anymore. I had 2 Darts. First was a 67 GT Convertible and the 2nd was a 69 2 door so I can appreciate Allison’s and the monster That Jeff fa fa just bought. That thing is killer.
Apparently this car was built in Norfolk here near where i live. It would be cool if you could do a video on the history maybe some info on the previous owner.
HOLY ALL ALUMINUM BIG BLOCKS AND A BLOWTHRU!!!!!GAVE ME GOOSEBUMPS, AND SO RAD TO SEE THIS PIECE OF DART HISTORY ALIVE AGAIN!!!! WELL DONE JEFF🏁🏁🏁🏁👍👍🤙🤙
That dart is freaking sick guys, nice work Jeff on getting it put back together. I’d definitely keep it and race it, it’s a cool dart and it’s even cooler that it’s got a big block mopar in it still. Looking forward to seeing this thing making some hits, keep up the great work guys.
Billy's laugh when he seen the car back out of the garage was GREAT! That was a real, genuine belly laugh. He knew exactly what he was seeing and hearing. The Dart is a beast.
Forsee a bidding war on this bad boy. This is the coolest car on any of the src old mans garage or gen 2 garage channels and i can't believe hes going to sell it. ❤
No doubt Jeff has the quickest car now. Now all he needs is to work his way up using all the car has to give. Aside from the maintenance cost if the motor blows it is without a doubt a very nice car. Call me what you will but i would be concerned driving any car with a cage like that on the street. Remember it isn't always us we have to worry about on the road. Bouncing your noggin off all those bar's would not end well. Be safe alot of us would like to see you around.
