The infinite tsukiyomi would be a great theory as when the end of show Boruto concludes We her Madara say "so this is your chosen reality naruto" and naruto wakes up and another series of naruto will be made called idk naruto 2 and the war arc has a sequel were Naruto wakes up and then wakes up Sasuke and then it continues and when Madara is eventually defeated Naruto becomes Hokage while learning his lessons from Boruto and raises Boruto better so he never turns evil it would be giving Naruto a second chance

I've got a plottwist that no one ever thought of: It's all an illusion that Sasuke used on Naruto in final battle and in one point of Boruto we will hear a blade slicing someone's body/ Chidori being used and blood spilling and we will see young Naruto with on of those options in his body with tears in eyes and blood in mouth so we can see the real end of anime

Sarada have to transplant Sasuke's eyes to obtain EMS so she probably never get it cause Rinnegone XD And we don't know that Sasuke's EMS will let Sarada obtain her completely new EMS.

So I know sharing my thoughts don’t matter all that much, but I wanna post a comment as Naruto has been my all time fav anime for so long. So, I’m all for beloved characters dying IF done correctly. In fact, I encourage it. And I mean dead dead. Like… Jiraiya dead. I despised everything about the reanimating deceased characters. Sure it’s cool in the moment but for me it really kills the impact of a characters death if they can just be brought back to “life” you know? And I know something like say Neji’s death wasn’t all great on the execution but I respect them for at least sticking to an actual death. And allowing something meaningful to happen can honestly help with the copious amount of filler we gotta sit through. I dunno… if done well and if it makes sense (story wise) I’d say it’s about time to start putting some past characters on the chopping block and to put the Edo Tensei to rest for good. Just… don’t. Edit: Kurama should stay gone. The fare well was heart wrenching. Doesn’t need ruining with a return.

I wouldn't totally discard the possibility of boruto having a sad ending instead of a good one where boruto dies or just ends up turning evil because it was said that boruto is destined to loose everything, well we could say that meant even loosing life or his morals after countless loss of his own beloved ones. Plus he is hell's suicidal. But again it's a shounen and not every writer is isayama so let's see. The infinite tsukoyomi makes no sense because it's a genjutsu that's supposed to show the good dreams of the people trapped there. Naruto loosing kurama, sasuke loosing his rinnegan are definitely not something we would consider as "good dreams". And i don't see the hype about this theory actually. Naruto fans do call this theory dope and cool for the sake of just mostly hating boruto but the genjutsu is faulty and i doubt how many of them remember that it would suck out all the chakra from their bodies resulting into death. I don't want boruto to befriend momoshiki. That's what makes the duo interesting and i have no need of seeing another repetition of naruto. I would rather have momoshiki forcing boruto to see the dark side of the shinobi world and its faulty system where unlike naruto who wanted and is working on to change it in the most civil way possible, boruto would approach a more violent way while claiming himself to be a shinobi who is rooting to change everything. If that opens a door for boruto for being the antagonist, then kawaki causes destruction upon the shinobi world in an attempt to make him believe that there is no need for him to do anything else, in an attempt to stop him. That would make both of them evil though. Well this is just me being delusional as i know the series would take no abrupt turn like this. Sarada has so many ways of obtaining an ems. Can't they just use eyes of those thousands of shin clones ? I guess they wouldn't do this because, well apparently they are children who were ensured safety by naruto himself but there has to be someone other ways. There is no way author wouldn't give her the bare minimum power-up. While sharingan was said to have been awakened only when felt extreme emotions despite of good or bad, i don't think ems can be awakened without death of any beloved. And it's naruto's sequel, there is no way they wouldn't kill someone from the previous generation. Amado is so far the most complicates character in boruto and has potential of being a really good antagonists. He is sneaky, subtle and manipulative. His motives are yet not clear but many theories assumes amado is plotting something big to revive back his dead daughter. I think he would play a big role in moulding kawaki's future character.

Madara winning would explain the aliens ,the fact that sexy jutsu worked in a woman with activated byakugan and a renisharingan , the fact that run a girl who had been dead for decades had an active effect in the real world by pulling two charaters physically while they were in another dimension all together. The fact that kakashi was able to active a genetic/biological change in both eyes temporarily, would have made more sense if it were permanent since it is a biological change. Let’s add the fact that the next generation is a bear clone or combination of people who naruto and sasuke grew up with to the point that there is a literal mini kakashi, the fact that the big scary abilitys that the alien badguys use are literally variations on the things orochimaru was known to do and they even share the whole solid white coloration.
