I think we all need to thank Chad for giving Spruce to you guys. It has been a trip with that little guy!! Hey Shanon, when you said what a goof troup, did you mean Kyle too? You did look at him after you said that. Absolutely incredible the difference in Shady Acres!!! I remember when Chad came over and went 4wheeling, the weeds, thorns, vines deadfall, and abandoned buildings and that was before we met you guys. The one thing I thought we were gonna have to get Kyle used to was the wasp now it’s horsefly’s. It was so awesome watching the goats eat and play while Kyle was working. I want to tell you both thank you. I needed that. It is coming up on 8 yrs since I lost my husband he was Chief of police in Southwest City, Missouri for 11 yrs and he retired after 23 yrs as a motorcycle cop and accident reconstruction officer from enid, Oklahoma to take the job. June 16, 2015 was his last day as a cop. Today made me emotional and sad I don’t know why but watching this video has made me happy. Be safe, enjoy your life and live it to its fullest and God Bless.

I loved this video! It is the two of you sharing your life. At times, talking and at other times just letting us soak in your animals and your beautiful land/home with us. Spruce is getting braver with the other goats, and it seems that they are adapting to him quite well. The property is greening up so beautifully. Your property is absolutely beautiful, it has changed so much and you have so much of it on video to see how far you've come and how your hard work has paid off.the place looks so different and you both have become the real country folks that you want to be. Y'all will keep growing and learning as you go along. Look at you two your doing things you've never done before like building a goat shed and their play ground and putting all the fence up and building your shed. The transformation of your property is amazing, A lot of hard work that is paying off big time. Yes, there was a learning curve for both of you, but you work well as a team. I have seen the growth in your projects, from Kyle learning things do not always have to be perfect and now swatting those pesky wasps to Shannon learning to run saws and build from pallet wood. I used to have a couple goats . They loved it when i went grocery shopping . I'd stop behind the store snd pick about a bushel of fruits and vegies and other junk food out of the dumpster. Id come back poor it all in they're troph and you'd think it was a Christmas feast for them they would eat every bight even the candy and cerial and chips . They loved it .

Goats have a way to keep you diligent with your weed trimming. You just have to chase escapees on foot in 90+ degree heat once to find weekly maintenance easy!😂
