I'm 16 and the most fattest among all of my cousins.I get to hear a lot of taunts because of that from all of my aunt/uncle I've been called a lot of names my whole life,been mocked everytime I wore something,did something,my aunties said I won't get a good husband if I don't lose weight :)but I've stopped listening to Everyone now... I'm also fat and I'm 14 years old.... In my class, if boys are told to sit with me , the whole class just starts laughing... Once when I was in 7th grade, my biology teacher said "Everybody, make a pin drop silence, otherwise I'm gonna make u sit with Meenakshi". Even teachers say like that, how can they be so rude..?!!! If a boy is fat, he doesn't have to face this much of mental torture..! Yes I call it that. It feels like hell. Ik It's important for me to lose weight, but why do they insult me like that! Dear don't stress over these issues, you can complain higher ups if there is bullying in your class and that includes the attitude of your teacher. To be fat or skinny is nothing to be ashamed about. But it can affect your health. So in that aspect may be you should try to lose weight in a healthy way. What you could do about your weight is first consult a doctor to find whether you have any hormonal problems. And if that is ok then start a long term life style modifications like daily workout for 45 mins , quitting junk food and eating home made healthy food with portion control. This will gradually help you shred your excess fat..may be will take an year. But remember you are just a teenager with a long good life ahead. And this 1 year is nothing compared to that. Don't take the negativity to your heart. After few years these stupid classmates of yours will be trying to come close to you... Good luck dear❤️

The Indian diet is poorly balanced. It includes large amounts of carbohydrates and fats, but has little protein. In addition, it is very high calorie. A typical Middle Class Indian's meal will run at least 600-700 calories, and little arduous activity. The extensive carbohydrate content, meal after meal, is why Indians are more obese than other groups. In Korea they have very high protein diet and low body fat. Here in the US pretty much every vegan/vegitarian I meet is either sickly anorexic or a whale. It's a cultural and dietary issue.

And still, BTS are called gays and etc. We understand how bad you feel. Love yourself. Embrace it, you'll like it. I have vitiligo but still, I am now starting to love it to the point I embraced it and can walk comfortably on streets despite all those stares. Namjoon, the leader of BTS told us not to look through the eyes of others. Look at yourself with your eyes. You will never ever be disappointed in yourself again. BTS taught me more than school ever did. And because of them, I love myself. Before I knew about BTS I attempted.. you-know-what.. and I hurt myself a lot.. when I found out about them I stood up for myself and I’m no longer insecure and “I love myself for who I am, who i was, and who I hope to be.”

Let me share my story: I was overweight for a kid my age in elementary school and middle school and was called 'moti' as usual... But I kept my personality strong...i made a lot of friends...i was polite and laughed at the jokes they made about me..Studied hard like crazy...always ranked within top5 in my grade thinking that that I had my grades as my only good points.. Eventually I was made the head girl of my school.. Later in high school due to stress from studies, tuitions and a bit of exercise I drastically lost weight and became thinner than the other girls... And you know what people do treat me differently now that I have lost weight.. I find it rather funny and sad (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`)

That suicidal part was too relatable. I mean when I say I am fat, I am just describing myself and as far as I reckon, describing one's self does not mean the person is trying to undermine himself or looking forward to end his life. The poor person is just stating out the fact. THAT'S IT. And also, the dieting one, the it was perfect. When I am eating less, it just means I am full and I have no desire to burst my tummy or even eating a salad does not signify DIET. I can eat salad or eat LESS whenever I want without being on a diet.

Being fat is way more than just eating unhealthy (and I admit yes we do eat unhealthy we have cravings more than other people) but there are serious medical conditions like I have one and it's absolutely not my fault that I have this medical condition so please stop making fun of fat people the consequences are horrible I know how it feels I been trying to lose weight I tried but it barely makes a difference due to the kind of medicines I'm on so I request please we the fat people are human like you not from other planet our lives are already miserable in a way so please kindly stop being so efficient and say go lose weight it's not good for you like we already didn't know

Same here, and you know what hurts the most when a stranger or someone u interact with says you are fat be it in a kind way or rude or makes fun of me I actually feel so self conscious all the time and its like worse than heartbreak for me BC I cry for that such a crybaby...by the way me too I am fat now BC of a medical issue and its not possible to take some time out from our packed schedules to work out

I am just 14 years old. I am neither fat nor slim. I am the exact size for my age but I have a friend who looks like she is malnutritioned and this girl keeps calling me fat. Why do people keep comparing themselves with others? If she is undernourished why does she want others to feel bad about their qualities? I am healthy and fit and I am happy about it. At least I am not a big potato or a slim ladyfinger. What I learn from this is that we don't need people to accept us, we need ourselves to accept us.

People always say “dont listen to other people, always be positive” But srsly once anxiety and depression hits you its really hard to be positive and to not care what other people thinks and says. I’ve been always positive since I was a kid but one day I just feel so useless and worthless and I started stress eating and gain weight before I experienced depression I dont care what other people thinks about me but when depression hits me everything is important I feel that I need to be pretty nor skinny, but the most terrible thing is the society, their supposed to support you but their not, their the one who always make you feel useless. It takes a lot of time to heal from depression even you say you know what it feels like, you would never ever ever felt the real pain unless you’re experiencing it. Till now im suffering depression and breakdowns and also its been 2weeks since ive start my diet to all the chubby men and women out there we can do this.

I just say that.. don't treat them badly... they r also humans... if u studied ... being obese is not a choice... sometimes it happens becoz of some problems... like thyroid, pcod etc... pls treat them properly with love and care.. it is not good to realizing them all the time that they r obese... it only lower there self esteem... and affect there way of living a life..... even it cause depression and many serious problem once upon a time I was also a obese person... due to that my parents behaviour towards me is not so healthy.. that leads me to depression...

My bro was once fat in 4th, I was literally vry small and everyone would tease him baby elephant jadhya (fat in marathi) but I supported him only if I was angry I would call him 😅 fat. But when he grew up like when he was in 10th, after boards he started goin to gym, he cycled, my mom too bought him gym equipments for him.....and now I am goin through the same situation 😭 and now I do April Han's exercise cause I know that how much we get bullied when we are fat.
