YES! its sad. and I've been a life long ND fan so I especially hate seeing two Irish fight. two girls Ive watched grow up. the irish is a family for life. They usually support each other so this definitely makes me sad. you can see arike run over to break it up and brianna wanted to help but she wasn't in the game. they dont like seeing them fight either. hopefully they apologize and talk it out.

I have to disagree. This isn't IMO anything resembling "hate." It's just some angry ladies blowing off steam in the heat of battle. And since I've recently become a fan of the WNBA, one of the things I've noticed and enjoyed, frankly, is that energy bordering on the near nasty. I don't think it's mean-spirited or anything. But really, anyone who's ever spent any time around lots of women knows, they can fairly easily just go off. :) However, in my experience, it's not like it really lasts very often. It's just, like I said, blowing off steam.

I'm trying to understand how the commentators are thinking this is a double tech. The one player was not "assessing to see how close" Skylar was. She threw an elbow. It's amazing how differently the behavior of various groups of people are labeled. Not only did she throw an elbow, but she continued to push her. Arike though is now and always will be a chucker. She's a low percentage shooter (almost like Chenndy Carter) now and forever, and any team she's the leading scorer on will never win a championship. Shes also a lazy, average defender, and as a poor defender she's prone to dirty plays like that against Prince or against Dangerfield in the NCAA's. Not my kind of player. Personally I'd rather have a hard nosed player like Mabrey than Arike on my team.
