Things Get Very Dramatic! Our Toddler Helps Her Dad Unpack Our Grocery Haul! 

When she locked the child lock on the cabinet... too funny. Perhaps she does not realize that SHE is the child it's meant to keep out? 😂

I never thought I would wholly enjoy watching 8 minutes of grocery unpacking/storing.

Her humming to herself whilst unpacking….she is an old soul. 💕

Dads coconut water, Moms lemons, and my yogurt. Love how she knows what foods belong to who. She's real good at those child safety locks 😂

Everyone’s gonna note all the cute things Sophia says, but no one’s talking about Dad saying to himself in near disbelief, “That’s a lot of broccoli” 😂

I could've cried when the grapes, dropped on a clean floor, were thrown away, instead of rinsing and eating them. I haven't had grapes for months, because here (in New Zealand) they are in short supply and cost almost $30/NZ for a kilogram! Kiwifruit, which we export to the rest of the world, are also devastatingly expensive because of issues with the most recent harvest and those that have been grown have mostly gone for export. Paying over $18 for a kilo puts them well out of the affordability of pensioners like us! Anyhow, keep on encouraging Sophia in her learning and trying foods. She's a delight to see as she grows up. I never thought that my RU-vid viewing week would include me waiting to watch videos of a kid unpacking shopping!

She is so cute & smart. She knows exactly what things are & who they are for. Hearing her hum along as she unpacks & puts up things is so sweet! When I was about her age my dad owned the only grocery store in a town of about 1500. He helped too many people feeding them on credit & had to file bankruptcy. We moved to OKC & throughout my school age years it was the best time to help dad in grocery stores. He traveled & sold Durkee spices. We loved it. Ya’ll are great parents.

Sophia is too smart and cute. I loved how she locked kid-proofed lock on the trash cabinet:))) She's also so proud of herself when she manages to deliver special foods for "mom" ("your lemons", "spicy!"). Cannot be more adorable.

Sophia is a great helper for someone so young. She is really good at pronouncing some of the harder words too, like pomegranate. I once attended a seminar given by Barbara Coloroso, who is the best selling author of 'Kids Are Worth It'. She told us that kids should help out in the home, as early as possible. and when physically able to. They should be able to make a mess, after all, adults make messes. If kids can learn life skills early, they will be more confident adults. Thanks for sharing your sweet videos. I loved the cheese advent calendar shorts. It was nice to see other family members getting involved too.

It's been such a pleasure watching Sophia grow up. I admire you so much for how you're raising her. She's known from day one all the foods she eats, amazing! Recognizing and naming everything! She's getting so big, she can lift and carry the bags of potatoes now! Not quite confident enough to lift the milks, and she knows the difference, Almond and cow! She can reach the bowl and in another minute she'll be hitting her head on the bottom of the fridge door!
