I'm a yoga teacher. We ask permission before class to touch people and we ask permission again to adjust in vulnerable poses. Most teachers don't adjust vulnerable poses. I'm disgusted she would do this to someone on stage. Colleen has the mind of a 5 year old. Truly.
You as the viewer at her show have a mind of your own, if you feel she’s being inappropriate than say it, and don’t say well a 13 year old isn’t going to say anything because that’s a bunch of garbage. I still want to know why an adult woman is talking about relationship and MARRIAGE issues with kids who's biggest dilemma of the day is their math homework. I understand what you're saying but even the big sister role can easily be exploited for grooming purposes. People in positions of power need to hold themselves accountable, draw healthy boundaries and quit seeking access to people with less power.
She clearly craves constant validation. And because the kids (her fans) adored her so much, she started going to them for validation. It seems she loves to be a victim, coming up with stories how everyone hates her or how her hubby is a jerk. She wants validation and attention. And the kids gave her that w/o questions.

And you carry whatever they manage to do to you into your adulthood, even if they don't get to the goal of sa, they've still already messed with the child's brain. And then we grow up with all kinds of messed up thinking patterns, like thinking that physical acts are what love is and what love looks like, so we keep being used by trash people for their gratification thinking we are being loved. And other not very fun things that trauma does to people. And no one just grabs you by the hand and says to you 'Hey, I think the way you're acting is weird, are you ok? You're screaming ''TRAUMA'', so maybe you should get some help, go to therapy, talk to a doctor'. We usually have to figure that part out by ourselves, on our own, as adults that are hit with the realization of what has happened to them like a ton of bricks.

We have new reports that popeFrancis had covered up abuse of kids. The Galilea Report by n.galilea lists priests he promoted that covered up abuse. Victims are discouraged to speak out against Francis but it is part of the vatican culture to cover it up
I really hope that one thing that comes of this is a discussion about how to protect kids by recognizing how groomers exploit them and giving them as many bright line rules about things adults aren't allowed to ask them for. Part of this is being prepared to tolerate the awkwardness when those rules make adults feel bad without teaching kids that they did the wrong thing. Helping kids alert adults to a problem is a big part of why it's important to teach them specific words for body parts. Recognize that if someone tries to abuse your kid it will not be someone they think is a stranger. It will usually be someone you trusted. (And it might be the "weird aunt", which is another problem with the message Colleen put out.) As an adult, you can't ask kids to keep secrets from their parents without setting an example that normalizes being asked not to tell. Abusers know how to manipulate kids, and adults. As uncomfortable as it is to think about this stuff, it's important for the rest of us to understand the ways kids get conditioned to accept their behavior and avoid normalizing similar behavior.
Retelling your trauma over and over even before you had time to heal is so hard. You've told your story already, they can take the information from there. If you need a break, take a break. Colleen will go down anyway, you've done SO MUCH already!

Adam has made a choice to "retell trauma over & over again"... not only to numerous publications but on numerous videos & lives on his channel. He was victimized by Colleen & I've been 100% supportive. But this is starting to feel like he is reveling in the attention. You can be both traumatized & excited about a subject that puts you in the spotlight. He reads out loud and/or reacts to every article/video & then posts on all of his socials, does lives/vids. He name drops new media mentions. He gets really excited & giggly about news of a Rolling Stone or Maria Cary tweet. He is almost swanning around the room, delighting in his the drama/gossip. What happens when he runs out of stories, more juicy details or this media storm passes like all others? This isn't a permanent identity.

I think one or two videos did the damage in terms of raising awareness for everyone, people started to make videos about it. Work could be done behind the scenes to help him recover and perhaps punish Colleen even. But like you say, he’s reacting to all of these articles and videos like it’s gossip / drama. But being a victim doesn't mean that your own actions are now all justifiable & should be supported without question.
To quote "Trauma and Recovery" by Judith Herman: "The first principle of recovery is the empowerment of the survivor. She must be the author and arbiter of her own recovery. Others may offer advice, support, assistance, affection, and care, but not cure." In other words, you can and SHOULD have the final word on how you heal, and when you tell your story. You don't owe anyone an apology or explanation for why you've stopped giving media interviews.
But he hasn't stopped. He's treating this like gossip/drama and is giddy & giggly over every social media mention, article or video. No one wants to point out any problematic behaviors for fear of victim blaming or being accused of supporting the abuser. I have supported him 100%. I'm also really impressed with y'alls real time responses to her when she would be extra creepy in those chats and someone would say like ew gross. As a 33 year old woman, the best advice I can give you is listen to your gut! Learn to really listen to your gut and set boundaries and do not accept people treating you poorly. In our childhoods we are constantly taught to not listen to our bodies. But the older I get the more I learn that our bodies often know when something is wrong but we learn to think oh there's something wrong with me, not them. Adam, FYI “malicious intent” legally speaking in a defamation context (in the US at least) means that the person lies while knows that they are lying. A bit different than the colloquial meaning of “malicious”. That being said, it’s hard to imagine that Colleen would have any case for defamation against you. You on the other hand perhaps may have a case against her, but defamation is notoriously hard to prove. I dont agree Josh os just trying to save himself. Let me say this he hasn't posted anything on RU-vid in at least a year. He has been living life and hasn't really been out inthe public in a long time. He has basically distanced himself from RU-vid and before he stopped he was doing videos on how he was recording from alcoholism and working on his mental health and himself. Besides that we only saw what the two wanted us to. We don't know all that was going on behind closed doors. I think Colleen took advantage of his weaknesses too. Bot that that excuses him from his part but you can tell he has done a lot of soul searching and working on himself. The fact he knew speaking out makes him look bad to he still spoke out about her. That speaks volumes when someone is willing to take the hit and admit guilt. Everyone saying he's doing it to save himself are wrong since he is guilty in some ways. Someone who's learning from their past doesn't ignore things they admit they were wrong and their actions can prove that. The fact he is admitting it and seems to be righing the wrongs makes me believe he has changed and does feel bad for his part in it. We can't hate him for it and it shows remorse.
It’s gross and weird she’d talk to you about her sex life. I’m about to be 25 and I have a 15 yr old niece and I could never ever imagine having conversations to her about subjects like that oh god never, maybe only to give her lecture on safe sex because she’ll be 16 soon but never any gritty details about myself and my partner. It’s beyond disgusting.
