Okay the funny thing is I'm not going to be having a baby for like 10 years but this is still just so cool to watch. You guys are great parents.

I love seeing you as a mom, I don’t think we usually hear you sharing your motherhood experience and it’s so interesting! And yes! Stop unsolicited advice people 😭 that and formula feeding are my biggest takeaways from this video. When I was born, my mom didn’t have any milk (in fact, she never had any) and the doctors were forcing her to pump and get me to latch but it was just a torture for her🥺 I was fed with formula and it was okay, fed is best🙌🏻🙌🏻 love how you are being more flexible and gentle with you this time around 🤍 can’t believe you are 30 weeks already, can’t wait to meet your baby girl💕💕💕

I'm an older viewer. My kids are now 15 and 18. Two girls! Having girls is the best! I agree with every single thing you said. It was so much easier the second time around. My second baby slept so much better. I knew to apply nipple cream every single time I nursed the second time around which made a huge difference. You're going to do a great job! Every single baby is different ❤️

I’m a formula mom 👩🏻‍🍼 I know some times moms / family members can judge and try to make you feel bad but like you said at the end of the day it’s your baby ! And feeding your baby is what matters ❤

The epidural was the best thing ever!!! I actually watched your videos on life with a newborn so many times in pregnancy and after I had our baby and it was so comforting. He also would only eat on one breast, my supply was so messed up at some point I had to give up and we're both so much happier with bottles 😅 I also listened to way too many peoples unsolicited advice and societal pressure and am planning to hopefully not do that next time around, messed with my mental health so bad which is already so fragile after birth. Epidural is amazing. I had a great experience. Advice I have is yes you are numb and if you can’t feel your contractions when its time to push, ask the nurses to help when its time to start and stop. My nurses were so helpful, they noticed I was pushing at wrong time and said wait you don’t feel them, we will tell you when. If your push without a contraction you are more prone to tear, or hurt after. I pushed first baby in 2 pushes and no tear. My daughter was born 11/11/18. Breastfeeding was hard for me too. If it is again just pump and give what you can. The mouth gets stronger.. alot of it when not latching is confusion and frustration from baby. I was successfully able to breastfeed after 4 weeks from birth. My nipple wasn’t formed well but baby with time caught on. Good luck!

Anyone else always ask for pink lemonade when you go out to eat?😅 Also I love the feeding with a bottle every other feed idea! I remember having to breastfeed my son as a newborn every 30 minutes and I was just so exhausted and I’d feel like there wasn’t even any milk made after only 30 minutes and my nipples would hurt so bad for the first month! I definitely want to try the bottle idea with the next baby

Me, 0 kids- “yup, yup. Absolutely. Totally, yes.” 😂 As someone who was a nanny for YEARS(cared for 4 babies from 3 mo-3yrs old) I super support the “there is no such thing as a spoiled infant.” Children don’t know how to express their emotions. Bigfeelingslittlepeople is a great insta to follow for phrases and acknowledgment to help tiny people navigate emotional intelligence in a practical way. Another thing I want to highlight- Ask for help when help is needed. Whether it’s a lactation specialist, someone to help with meals, a therapist, an additional set of hands, anything. “It takes a village” is a saying for a reason, it is difficult and every single parent/caregiver knows that. And Haley, a proactive note for you on the journey from 1 baby to 2: Do not feel guilty for spending alone time with the baby. The days will change and you’ll have different challenges but the relationship they have will grow so beautifully over time and you have a front row seat ❤

Pink Lemonade.... Should really try it... My first baby I was a single mom and had the meanest doctor. He really messed me up. It was the worst experience. But I love my boy forever. Then I fell pregnant with my second child. My hubby was amazing. Because I would go to bed early, he would take the shifts up to 12. And then he would go to bed and I'll take the early morning shifts. That was a game changer.

Unsolicited advice is so TOUGH on new parents, and although it might come from a good place, it really hurts and confuses sometimes. In my case it was the opposite and I was pressured to quit exclusive breastfeeding. Since not a soul in my/my husband's family heard of concepts like cluster feeding, 4th trimester, or free demand bf, everyone just constantly told me my milk wasn't good enough, or that baby isn't supposed to want to be on you/your boob all the time. Fortunately I did my research and stook with my instincts and she went from a 4lb premie to 80 percentile in like a month and a half. Informed, loving and conscious parents know best no matter the specific choices you're making!

I've got 2 boys. A 2 yr old and a 6 month old. My first son had a rare genetic disorder that was undetectable before birth and my husband and I didn't know we were carriers for. So after my son was born, I spent an additional 9 months getting him stabilized and I Had To watch him like a hawk because of his condition. It was so very hard. I'm pretty in tune with what he needs because of this. I wasn't able to breastfeed him, unfortunately. But formula feeds were easy to schedule so that was a nice trade off. With my second son, I am still breastfeeding. I let him cru more cause he doesn't have the condition my first son has so im a bit more lenient. I finish making food, I finish cleaning, ect. It's also nice that my 2 yr old goes to check on his brother occasionally and gives him a binkie, strokes his head, talks to his brother, its really precious. I feed on demand, whenever. My breasts are huge 😆 I am having trouble loosing the weight with my Italian genes, I knew this might become an issue. But we're all healthy, that's what matters. Also, neither of my boys have had nipple confusion so I think its made up. I had epidurals with both because both my children were more than 8lbs each. My first child was 9.5 lbs and my second was 8.10 lbs. I make Big babies 😆 definitely the way to go I think. With my first delivery, I waited until I couldn't stand the pain before the epidural was administered, which locking back, was stupid because it actually increased my progression once I got it. So with my second son I waited until I started to get uncomfortable but could still talk that way I could focus on instruction while getting the epidural and ask questions, I had trouble doing that the first time. Epidurals, for me, make the labor and delivery fly by so IF I ever have more children I'm just going to get the epidural as soon as i get in the hospital to cut the time 😆 That being said, recovery is always more difficult than the actual birth. I had ppd with my first child when learning I couldn't breastfeed him, it was hard and I got on medication for it. I had Bad sleep deprivation with my second child which only got better with more sleep. I think you'll be fine hun. I got advice everywhere, that I didn't ask for, and I'm in my mid 30's; that was so annoying. I say, you do you. You know your body and you will know your child. You've got this. Congratulations on your number 2!

I appreciate that you included your night sleep schedule. I did something similar with my first where my husband and I had a set 5-hour sleep block. I cannot tell you how many couples I know who would get up together every few hours, or only the mother would wake up to breastfeed all night, and they would be soo sleep deprived. I skipped one night time feeding so I could sleep and my husband could use a bottle, and it saved my sanity. I would then pump when I woke up and it did not affect my supply.

Pink lemonade is the best! I have 2 girls, 12 and 6 and I did such different things for each but I know I did the best I could at the time. Much more relaxed the 2nd time round but my eldest is a strong independent girl whereas my youngest is a cuddle bug. I mix fed the first too but exclusively breast fed my 2nd till she was 3. She also slept in our bed till she was 4. You can see the light at the end of the tunnel with 2nd kids. Xx

When my son in Manhattan New York they give that stuff for my husband so 1st I had that happened and everything going good for y’all ❤❤❤

When I was a Doula, My favorite positions to suggest were hands and knees, on the toilet, and bath tub. Moms who experienced back labor loved these!

The best “nipple cream” that there is, is honey bee. It’s amzing to sooth your nipples, it’s natural and it’s harmeless for the baby. Try it. You will love it. Before and after the feed. There is nothing better than that.

U do what your body says to do don't listen to all the mumbo jumbo you do what your body tells you. I'm a God mother of 18 most of them are grown now but I was there for a few of the births I've never had a baby but I do have the 4 legged furry kid of kids ♥️ bless ya!

Epidural definitely helped me have energy after birth. i felt pressure during contractions with epidural. I also had contractions for three days straight/ no sleep prior to delivery soo that’s also why i chose epidural. no matter what you are a mother and that’s enough.

Pink lemonade girl baby number two comes out so fast you might not have time for an epidural 😂 And as annoying as it is to hear you really gotta stick with breastfeeding. Once they get the hang of it it’s so much easier but it does take time!

Try side laying when pushing! That’s what I did and it was not painless don’t get me wrong, but I was also so exhausted but was able to push well in that position and I feel like you could do that if you have a epidural

Even with epidural you will be exhausted, heads up! It’s still worth it though ❤

Make sure when you get a epidural let them not A newbie do it make sure that the person had a spare and give me the Apple Doral because you don’t wanna go wrong with you or the baby so spelled it right lol

Love this ❤ I was able to birth on my side even with an epidural the second time around and it was SO much easier! We also had planned to be much less worried about “rules” but ended up having a reflux baby so everything went out the window anyway. Seeing an IBCLC was the most helpful thing ever (even if you’re not breastfeeding, she helped us figure out the cause for the reflux)
