Crazy to see how much you’ve grown as a person and as an athlete, especially since you pulled out of prep last year. I feel like you’re a complete different person and it feels good seeing how happy and content with life you are. So excited for this season, you’re gonna kill it 😉

In terms of foods and sauces, I put soy sauce on tHings as super low cal but is having too much salt going to have negative effects? X

Just keep it consistent! I also use a low sodium soy sauce on a meal but I’ve used it since 19 weeks out. What’s most important is that one day you aren’t having a ton of sodium Vs another day none. I screws check ins/weigh ins when a competitor leaning out quite low

Why do some competitors wear waist trainers? Do they benefit at all during prep or it is a placebo effect?

Hi! I would not say placebo as the best in the world wear them. Probably just not needed for most. Doesn’t move fat you hold but can make tiny differences in if you put on more muscle in your obliques when bracing in certain workouts, which could make some people’s waists look “thicker”. Some people have light weight ones just to sweat more in cardio as well

would you go through the different body building divisions? i’m not super feminine but want to compete but don’t really know if that’s an option for me

I prefer bikini for me! Divisions come down to muscular shape/proportions. Not necessarily just being more or less feminine of a person! There are more Tom boy women who do bikini! But remember, every division wears heels/a bedazzled bikini/ heavy makeup etc

@@gdanielsfitness is posing the same even in the bodybuilding division? i think i could handle the outfit and heels but i do identify as nonbinary and do take HRT (which i know isn’t an issue in bodybuilding and may even be an advantage since im fine with virilization) also thank you for responding, love your content and appreciate you

@@geneafit they all wear bikinis! The divisions upward of physique and open bodybuilding don’t wear heels!

@@geneafit the poses do change depending on division, the physique division for women is the one we see the side tri and the double bi in women’s divisions!
