Rise was a mistake because of that they have abandoned world if they're just going to focus on rise they might as well just cancel world remove it from PlayStation because the more SHIT they had to rise makes me despise it that much more because I bought it thinking it was going to be fun but now after seeing nothing about rise every time I get on youtube I want to destroy it
@@tjweber9883 Some other reviews stated that just farming a MR monster for armor makes Sunbreak like base game. I'll have to try and see for myself. But what they agreed on is that high MR is where you start getting your ass handed to you.
Don't forget Team Darkside are 110% Speedrunners at heart. So they probably never grab Spiribirds and use the Demon Petalace, meaning they only have 100 max HP. So yeah, its no wonder Master Rank monsters are ABSOLUTELY going to one-shot them without some defense investment.
Steak has already healed bleeding when it was first introduced in 4U. People usually didn't use it though because eating a steak mid-fight wasn't particularily viable.
@@GoldenLeafsMovies It was Steak and Mosswine Jerky in 4U, Shushifish in Gen, and Astera Jerky in World. Not quiet sure if the Tuna, or Steak did anything in Games pre Rise, or post 4U. Wasnt realy needed to test all of it out.
1:27 “our videos are even shorter and make even less ad revenue”, and using that as the reason for the sponsor, laughed so hard to that, so brilliant lmao
A quick tip for the defense boost tip Choose elemental resist first, you get a defence boost at resists level 3 + 20 resist to that element and the defence stacks, so having multiple resists can come in handy for optimizing armor during the first playthrough
As a side note about the cohoot nest. You can loot both, the one in Elgado and Kamura for more freebies. I also like to align looting the nest after the meowcenaries are done with their expedition, to get max items.
@@regulargoat7259 My man! I did the exact same thing here. With the exception of looking up how to get to Area 13 (which includes a Relic Record), I found everything in the Citadel on my own.
I usually skip through adds, because who has time to watch adds for mobile games. But this one I watched because I respect the reason, and it got a chuckle out of me, lol.
I actually found the jungle subcamp in the demo on accident lol There's vines leading up to a 2nd hole above the cliffs overlooking the beach area across from the ruins, and I accidentally went in there several times trying to reach the spiribirds/endemic life on the central tree and surrounding area
With the myriad of spoilers in all the videos, I thought it was safe to watch this one. Apparently, it was not, and suddenly in a split second I saw where the citadel camp was. That's some next level asshattery from TDS, really disappointing..
At 7:40 you mentioned waiting for the wire bugs to recharge before being able to wall run, you can actually walk run without any wire bugs you just have to be close to the wall so the little hop your hunter does lands on the wall
its true and not true. if u will go for very high walls, stalling on your wirebugs to recover stamina is very important and when u stall they are not recovering. now its not rly a problem
I’m talking to get on the wall. If you don’t have wire bugs and the wall is close enough you’ll run on it. If you have stamina then typically by the time you are out of stamina a wirebug will recharge, your stamina will regenerate as you jump of, wirebug back on and the cycle repeats
7:00 からのスターバックスの下りめちゃくちゃ笑ったww I laughed this star burst bugs scene lol Anyway, Thank you for making this video!! There is so many usefull infos for me. sorry for my bad Eng🤙🤙
Another tip if you use a weapon with an element: You can hit Starburst Bugs and they will reflect the element on your weapon. Might be worth having a Thunder weapon in a group hunt to take advantage of Thunderblight more.
“Don’t worry, this video will only show monsters that have already been officially announced by CAPCOM”. SO THERE’S MORE MONSTERS!?!? (Assuming that the final boss is not one of them)
I love how every single thing is a thing you learn if you just play a little bit. Like the camps you find if you just look a little bit at the maps same with the teleport points. Basicly you just wanted know know everything before the dlc came out
"There are not many useful level 1 skills." Spoken like a LS main. COUGH Flinchfree In seriousness, though, free meal, diversion, leap of faith, reload speed, stun res, and element res skills are all better choices than defense boost.
I just got past MR30 and still didn't know about the new sub-camps! I actually thought it was really lame that buddy recon was the only fast travel option, but I guess I was wrong, lol. IIRC sushifish and gourmet fish (and well-done steak) have worked _since 4U_ where bleed was introduced, but jerky was preferable because it worked the way sushifish now works (a very fast consume that restores your red HP), plus it was what would show up in the supply box for seregios hunts. You can also prime starburst bugs with an elemental weapon.
Another hint for the Collab quests, when you do the surveys where you get to choose your partners, take the twins from Kamura both rocking Hunting Horn 🥰
5:33 More specifically: Flouncejelly (which is MR Gothjelly) will only be able to be found on Lava Caverns when there's a sparkle animation around the fish The other scrap you can get from just about anything small monster or gathering related (though you'll also need Somnacanth materials as I'm sure you saw) and I don't know whether the recipe will require something else to unlock. The LR/HR Cat-aclysm Knell were unlocked in base Rise after the story by unlocking the cabinet at the base of the tree in the Buddy Plaza
I have all the materials for the cat-astrophe knell but couldnt craft so i asumed there was something else required for it and there is a request that gives it to you
"When you played too much Elden Ring" 🤣 You guys are awesome! I hope I can be as good as you guys and hunt together once! I'll be looking to so many crazy run videos you guys are gonna do in Sunbreak!
I love being able to wall run in fights so easily, cause then I often wanna, in a stylish way, jump over the monster as its charging to me and then wack it from above huehue
thank you for the wall climbing thing. Not only i didn't know you could wall climb like that now, but i also didn't know you could turn it of for combat. so thank²
I'm glad you brought up the wall running thing. My first three carts where exclusively from me running to drink a potion and accidently wall running instead.
Tip for buddies I'm pretty sure you can get eurekacorns from sparkling grass spots with meowcenaries, so keep a lookout for those when sending them out. Seems to be quite a rare drop tho, but any way of getting more eurekacorns is good
"Gourmet Fish" also existed in Generations but employed the "long" eating animation so they were definitely not as useful as the Jerky in MH4U / World.
Sleep has in general been a pretty shit status in random multi-player hunts because too many people don't know to stop friggin touching buttons when the music stops and some DB or LS player immediately wakes it, at least that's been my experience
Even before Sunbreak I always made my armor sets with defense Boost. I created a Tigrex Might set that has 526df on it already. Then when I collect perma-buffs, plus with the Armortalon, I reached a total of 587- 605 or something like that. Because you also have to max out and upgrade the Armor as well. I always use Defense Boost, Always.😂
Okay, but that tip about wallrunning in combat; that's on you for not being aware of the wall, even if wallrunning was turned off you would still be walking into a fucking wall and cornering yourself. You'd no doubt be dead anyway.
I apologize for the wall of text incoming, but I wanted to share some extra tips of my own, specifically for Light Bowgun! Maybe somebody out there will find it useful, many others may not, that's okay. :) As somebody who swapped from Bow in Rise's base game to LBG in Sunbreak and just finished the story of MR, I would like to recommend the Rathian LBG for general progression, as well as the Zinogre LBG for certain fights with shitty shot zones via Slicing, or if you want to exploit a Thunder weakness. The Rathian LBG will very quickly Rapid Fire Shrapnel 1 & 2 shots, along with Poison 1 shots, and has access to Sticky 1 for at least 1 KO per hunt, Para 1 & 2 for at least 2 paralysis, as well as Recovery 1 for online play, and let me just say that I was surprised at how powerful Rapid Fire 3 + Spread Up 3 made Shrapnel shots. Even if the numbers appear to be lowish (I would sometimes hit as low as 8 to 10 damage a tick all the way up to 30+ in some cases), just keep in mind that every shot hits multiple times and REALLY racks up damage fast, especially with Spare Shot 3 mixed into the set, combined with not having to aim nearly as much so you can focus on dodging and staying alive. On top of that, the Rathian LBG was VERY easy to make (although the Rarity 9 upgrade requires a mantle!)...Most solo hunts would take anywhere from 7-9 minutes to the upper tens (some of the healthier and harder monsters took me close to 15-20 minutes, not including the stray faint here and there) considering I would take the same route every time to grab buffs/endemic life. If you don't have one yet, meld for a charm that at least has a lv 3 slot along with whatever skills it comes with, then STOP. You don't unlock higher rarity charms until **AFTER** the MR story is over. PLEASE save your materials and MP Accelerants for the new methods which gives Rarity 8 to 10 charms! The new Mech Silkbind Shot skill, which only costs a single bug and is unlocked in MR 4, is surprisingly very helpful thanks to it's ability to cause part breaks faster. Combined with Malzeno's Blood Rite skill for some easy tick heals (I had 2 points from the waist), and combined with eating for Temper, Defender and Moxie, the Secret Support skill Healing Cloverbat on your Palico, and even Recovery Speed/Recovery Up, there were many times that it was more effective for me to just get up after a heavy hit and keep shooting to regen all my HP back. It ALSO really helps that the Mech Silkbind Shot does decent damage, acting like a mini-Wyvernheart skill, and the amount of Silkbind damage it does actually would sometimes cause a very fast mount. For Rampage slot decos, I really liked having Chameleos Soul for the last couple of story fights, as minor as it can be, as well as Anti-Wyvern as a general purpose deco, but the one I used almost consistently in the expansion was Waterblight Exploit. I found it extremely easy to inflict Waterblight throughout the expansion, not to mention that as soon as you enter the Citadel map, there's a Mud Beetle on the right side of the grazing herbivores in area 1. Don't forget that Waterblight is already a tenderizing effect on it's own, so it's nice to have extra damage stacked on top of this. Naturally, swap this out depending where you're going or what other monsters will be in the area (IE if you go to lava caverns, maybe take Fireblight instead due to Rathalos/Fire Beetle being an option). The Astalos Legs feel almost like a MUST for LBG, and gunning in general, given that they give 3 points of Spare Shot by themselves...It's an amazing feeling when you have a 1/5 chance to not consume your ammo and you'll often get into situations where your 3-shot clip Shrapnel 2 will feel more like 10+ due to multiple procs! Also comes with 3 points in Thunder Attack, which is perfect for that Zinny secondary gun that was mentioned! Having at least one point of Evade Extender is very much appreciated in this expansion...Some enemies attacks track you extremely hard, and even just sheathing your weapon and trying to sprint out of the way isn't enough sometimes! There were many attacks I was able to simply slide away or through thanks to a combination of Ev Window 2 + Ev Extend 1, but for the attacks you can't roll through... ...You have the Wyvern Counter for! Last tip for LBG, the Counter is more than just a counter. The way it actually works is you jump back on a Wirebug's...well, wire, while also firing a bullet off automatically in your facing direction, and while from what I could tell, fully invincible for a brief moment. While of course you could use it offensively to sneak in some extra damage by just hitting the monster while they are attacking, even if you aren't the main target for online or offline, I found it amazing for dealing with certain projectile attacks! For instance...Kushala Daora had a tendency to spit out a wind ball directly at its target, but hitting the ball with the counter actually destroys the projectile! I will warn you now however, if you attempt to counter a charging monster, try to do it at an angle AWAY from the monster, or at the very least, at the tail end of the charge. More often than not, if you do it head on, you'll jump back while countering the attack for sure...but the monster will still be running THROUGH you, and then you take damage anyways. Not to mention, it leaves you very out of position for critical distance, or at least for my ammo types it did.
> Claims no spoilers. > Spoils the location of the Jungle subcamp. Haha, no problem. I couldn't find that thing by myself in the demo even though I explored the heck out of that map, so I don't think I would have ever found it by myself anyway. It's so hidden. I did find the Citadel subcamp by myself though, I explored every inch of that map when I was finally able to go on an expedition there. It's a really cool map, and pretty spooky at night with the red moon.
3:00 huh?? I discovered jungle’s camp in mr 1, found all its recon points and relic records in mr2. Mr 3 for every recon point, camp and relic record in citadel. It took me longer to find volcano and shrine ruin’s camps
It's not just monster blights and beetleballs that change the element of starbucks bugs, you can also attack them with a normal elemental weapon attack. I guess most people play raw, so they don't realize this detail.
You call wall running dangerous, i call it cool fucking moment potential. Solely because i got a stun on a monster after wall running by kicking off and air attacking with my hammer, but it still looked cool as shit.
The additional tracking attacks and upped difficulty of Sunbreak is going to be annoying on PC with the FPS bug causing tracked attacks to be harder to avoid.
"whats the name of that star burst bugs" "say that three times really fast" "starburst bugs starbucks starbucks, its like starbucks" yeah cause u just said starbucks 3 times
hold on a sec, i gotta ask this. theurs a new function that makes a animal friend drag our human weighted, + armor and weapons, butt to a spot on the map? how strong are these cats?!!
