Love that all these Hunters hear you say “no reward for completing all village quests” and their reply is “are you challenging me?!” I fuckin love this community.
You're incorrect about the Cohoot nest. You can visit the tree after every single mission if you so choose, as something spawns each time. The max number of items that will be held in the nest is 5.
Thank you so much! I also wished you could see the filtered items on the map at all times. Always open the full map or zooming in is kinda annoying. But at some point, I'll know all the item spots :)
thx for some usefull tips.. specialy the nest , i saw in the intro of this area these bridges were here for a reason but never thought of exploring it since... keep up the good work.. love u guys so much.
I really can’t wait to play the game, gosh, even if this video is spoiling footage a little bit of gameplay, i can already tell just from this video that rise is gonna be fun, thank you so much for the tips, i’ll be sure to use this video
Thank goodness random skill talismans are back. Also on a side note max potion and ancient potion no longer increases max possible health/stamina only if it falls under the red portion. White portion seems to be just be for spiribirds.
I don't think it will launch at midnight with our respective time zones. The timer still says 20h to go but in 20h for me it will be 5pm the afternoon of the 26th. In 2h 20min it will be midnight on the 26th where I am and stores open at 9am. So that means people who bought it physically will get to play it 8h before I get to play it digitally if it doesn't come out at midnight :(
Sorry to hear that buddy. Roughly, it’s also 20 hours till I can play. Can’t skip sleep quest and working quest. After completing these quests, then I can wield my katana and become one with the sword. Until then, happy hunting 😁
@@zanemeyer6006 yup the closest physical copy to me was 9 miles away and only one in stocks, so I just ordered online from some website that doesn't give a tracking number for the package so I just have to guess when it's coming.(I don't like buying digital for switch)
Great job guys, I really enjoy your videos. I am wondering will it be possible that TDS can publish videos for recommendation of weapons, armor sets and skills during the early progression. I was trying to find videos that help me select which greatsword I should use during the early progression, but hardly found one. Also, I am really looking forward to see TDS post progression videos in the future. For me the real happiness stem from the early progression.
Thnks for this its great knowledge for the future. I haven't even bought rise yet because of 3 main reasons that relate to monster hunter world iceborne 1. I haven't been able to solo fatalis yet. 2. I have friends I'm still taking through the games story and I dont feel right leaving them behind before they have gone through the same epic journey that I have. (I also hope multiplayer story is easier in rise) 3. There are still a bunch of armour sets i still haven't completed and I don't like to leave a project unfinished.
I didn't know about the cohoot nest until I was HR6 or HR7. I also didn't know that village quests don't increase your rank, so I had already completed the village story just to start Hub quests and was absolutely massacring the low rank monsters. But I also was already HR7 and farming [spoiler] within a couple days of the game releasing.
I noticed that they changed the savage axe mode a bit during that first clip, that is actually pretty nice now that all the extra hits are confirmed as soon as you hit the monster.
another big one for new players imo is that using Motley Mix to cook down items also gives you a ton of Dango Tickets. 2 monster tails is about 5 tickets, and the others have pretty good rates too this is great for using Dango that normally have a low success rate, like Slugger
Are the great wirebugs single-use? Like if you put one on the map does it permanently unlock that shortcut or do you need to use a new great wirebug every time?
I've been playing this game a lot with a couple friends and I'm thinking about making a new character again but solely focused on playing solo for immersion and more natural progression. But I'm worried about doing Hub quests solo because of the increased difficulty. But from what I hear, the monsters you fight in Hub missions mainly just have more HP, no other increase in stats. But then we reach High-Rank and hooo boy... First thing it made me think of is Terraria's Hard Mode. Pretty sure it's still possible solo, but really tough... Still, thank you for these tips.
Things i wished i knew was how complicated the menus and general controlls are for menus... took me less time to learn python programming than to navigate menus in this game 🤣
What you talkin about Willis? I don't see how people have so much trouble with the menus and controls, Never had any trouble an I started with MH Freedom on the psp.
@@AnarickTheDevil " Never had any trouble an I started with MH Freedom on the psp." that's why you never had any trouble. the menus were developed for PSP's. they're not as intuitive as you think.
If what you said is correct then I’ll do like 2 village quests and probably just only do hub quests. The thing I hated about GenU was how I needed to do village to increase my box.
@@SchradeDemise Haha yes. But if we think about it, "simp" is a very recent insult. That makes me think about the age of the people who created that insult, maybe virgin teenagers.
As im a rather bad hunter myself, i did ALL village quests to prepare myself (except rampage because i dont like that game mode) and i only got the permission to do 2* hub quests. So you dont get the HR Special permit quest from village at all OR you need to do all quests including expeditions and rampage.
5:35 the return of the Kelbi bow, which I have only just found out through another Monster Hunter channel that this was very OP, can't wait to try it out 😁
WAS op. It was in a game where blast was at its strongest because it was the game that introduced it. Blast has since been nerfed to shit like poison. I'm not sure if that's changed at all in this game(likely not), but here's hoping that the weapon has good stats
@@kairu_aname ah I see, I didn't start using the both until about Gens, I think tesostra is about the best bow in recent years. From the look of the different shots available it seems pretty good, have to just check it out & experiment with it
@@michaelthompson785 In generations one of the best was nerscylla's bow,(I seen that more than anything) and in world I don't remember teostra having a bow. Usually it was whatever had the highest element for a bow.
@@kairu_aname ah okay, I'd have to look at that one, I just used the ancient bow with the botw setup myself with Valor in GU probably not the best set-up but worked out okay
The designs are there since 4U, i don't remember if they're on Tri/3U but in 4U and G/GU they are specificated after every villager request you fulfill
Just wanna say, "Lagniapple" is pronounced like "Lanyapple." It's based on the Cajun word "Lagniappe," which essentially means "a little something extra."
From who do you get the Chargeblade Design cause i already got sum for Hammer, Bow etc but not Chargeblade? Do i get the quest after i finished a specific design quest?
Literally HOURS left until release!! I actually just bought it now lol, it's downloading as I type but I guess I won't be able to actually play until tomorrow 😬😂
