One i found early that was really useful: if you do decide you only want to use one weapon type, do not equip any other weapon throughout the entire game. Equipping a weapon type unlocks its category type for recipe bread - meaning if you only ever equipped short sword and dual blades every recipe bread will give ONLY short swords or dual blade recipes! Very useful to get all the recipes for your favourite weapon class early!
UPDATE!!!! PLEASE READ! : For the Companion Crest you do not get it by getting everyones friendship level to 1 but rather you get it by catching all 1 star Monsters from the wanted monsters list. Keep in mind I have made videos for all the 1 star monsters and how to catch them too! Thanks ZombieKillerThe for letting me know I got that part wrong! Rune factory community +1 :)
Alternate save files is really useful, not just for festivals- I spotted there was a plot event in town and I thought “oh I’ll do that tomorrow” except the next day it had gone- so gutted I didn’t have a save file from the previous day to go back to.
These are very good tips! Some of these I didn't even know, like placing furniture outside and the abilities! I bet this works even better with the heart pendant!
I don't know if you know this or have been told this, but when you have the very first mission to meet people, time doesn't start. So, you can look around the village without worrying about running out of time. This means you can search the town for items that you can sell for the day... so, I say that until you get everything you can, don't finish the mission and get all that money for the day. :D
Do the punching bags offer a skill bonus because you can gain xo from just hitting the air, so you might as well save money by just grinding against a wall, since you can't damage buildings. Also since there's always someone in the outpost, you can use the glitch to regain to there, and get back to crafting, and save slot of money by skipping the baths, if you're over level 20.
Plz I really need some help. I had this request, I had the goblin captured and them I spoke with Livia. After this I think I chose a new monster but I don't remember very well. The problem is, I can't see anywhere the request to find the new monster and Lívia don't say anything about it. Plz, help. Is it a bug?
