I have a backpack that's just *covered* in enamel pins. I like looking at it and remembering all the memories associated with each pin. The backpack itself has also been on a lot of trips with me. Definitely sometimes that sparks joy ♡

aww i love this. i started collecting pins on the backpack i always carry on the rare occasion i travel, and i aspire to get to that big of a collection with time. going to start using it for school this fall as i'm going back to college and i'm so excited :)

I live in a rental flatshare and haven't got much on display but my balcony sparks joy as I've bought a cute outdoor rug, a nice wicker chair, small table and put a gorgeous dream catcher on the well. Now I spend time on it come rain or shine (it has a cover luckily). I'm writing this comment from it on my laptop right now and the rain is pouring outside but the pitter of the rain is soothing and I'm enjoying the fresh air

I had to think hard about why you look so different and I almost forgot you had glasses! Love seeing your videos and this was so lovely to watch. I think it’s nice to enjoy inanimate objects that bring you joy. I had a lot of those things around our house until we had our daughter who’s currently in everything is mine toddler mode. So whatever has survived is left in my office which is my space. I have to say the thing I love in this video is the birthday book. That’s really cool. Maybe when she’s 18 I’ll put one on our coffee table which we don’t have yet because toddler lol.

I spent the last year and a bit collecting one-note fragrances. Sometimes I like to combine them to make wearable scents, but when I’m in my bedroom, it brings me joy to want to smell something like a satsuma and then I can! Also my garden brings me joy!

So this video actually totally sparked my new favorite ice breaker to ask people, which will now be: if you collect anything, what do you like to collect? i think it says so much about a person on what they choose to collect! For me, I'm a digital hoarder to keep memories of my life but also I love keeping the cards and letters loved ones give me. I save every single one for as long as I can remember. They're nice reminders. For my friend, she collects coins because apparently you can tell a lot about a coin and its story just by looking at it and where it was found! Thank you so much for sharing, Tyler! So glad you're thriving and always finding ways to seek joy!

You have so much fun things. I like the flowers with all the colors. The giraffe is so adorable! I have a old victrola you wind up for the 2 big boxes of old records I have so you can play on it. Many angels of different textures, nationalities, & some animals. A lot of them look like they’re up to no good!🤭😇 A small custom builder restaurant booths & table a friend gave me that he made. My picture of Shirley Temple & me when she was on a book tour. My idol. I realize RU-vid had probably unsubscribed me so had to resubscribe. 👍✌️🤓💚🥰

I have a similar book that shows not only your birthday characteristics but also relationship compatability based on others' birthdays. Also, when I see a giraffe and a goose I immediately think of Grace Helbig. Love you both!

a) tyler oakley videos spark joy b) i had to rearrange my desk recently and now my personal PC faces what i call my friendship wall. there's a canvas of like dripped crayon art that a friend i met on wizard101 in 2009 made for me, and a shelf above it that has things that were made or bought with or for dear friends. there's also a few other friendship related items and a set of 4 weird ikea birds. some of these things are not like the others lol

I grew up overconsuming a lot and my family still does, so a lot of these past few years for me have been rediscovering forgotten things in my family home and actually giving them some love. I found a salt lamp I bought in high school that I never used, and now it sits on my bedside table and I use it every day, it makes me so happy. Also currently using this coconut water and mimosa flowers lotion I discovered last time I went home to visit and it's so summery and makes me so happy!

I have thrifted most of the pieces in my room and so many little things bring me joy. But my favorite are my black curtains with a vintage design of the moon phases and florals. It’s so striking the moment you come in and it also makes the whole room cozy and otherworldly 🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓🌔

I have a number of small collections that bring me joy. A collection of collections if you will. Matryoshka dolls, Irish-themed barbies, weird/fun earrings, frog stuff, house plants, vintage ceramic animal figurines, victorian lesbian portraits, and BTS merch - specifically the hip hop monster merch from their first few years as a group, and finally the normal stuff like books and records. I am... definitely not a minimalist. It's good to see you show up once-in-a-while. It's like catching up with an old friend.
