Lovely as always. ❤ Yes, sadly, change is inevitable. I watched it happen in Key West, as it lost every ounce of charm it had. A complete changing of the guard, and now a stronghold of corporate America. Hopefully, Ptown won’t suffer the same fate.

Provincetown is trying hard to not make the same mistakes Key West did, but corporate America is getting in anyway. Hopefully we still have many years before it's gone for good!

Many years ago our daughter treated us to a bed and breakfast in Santa Barbara. The women who delivered the breakfast to our room was having a terrible am and i guess we. Looked like a couple she could vent to. We listened and tried to help. She said this was all her husband's idea and she did not like it It looks easy but i am sure it is not Our daughter now has an airbnb and enjoys it but it is a lot of work. But it real helps with the mortgage in southern tCalifornia I love love your videos😊

Thanks for commenting! We have seen first hand couples who have bought a guesthouse and one is more into it than the other - it usually doesn’t end well! Glad your daughter is doing well with her AirBnB!

I would make them sign a note stating that they specifically requested nuts even though they reported their allergies. I too would be nervous about their health. That’s crazy.

It definitely throws us for a loop. On the one hand we want to make all our guests happy, on the other hand they asked us to be careful for their safety, and then they ask for exactly what they said they absolutely could not have! LOL!

I have experienced the brown water when the city flushed out the main water lines. They open the fire hydrant and with the massive water flow it stirs up the sediment in the water lines. This is why they do it to flush it out. Should go back to normal very soon. You can always run the water in a bath tub to speed up the process. Love your channel ❤❤

Yes - that’s what occurred. Unfortunately the town doesn’t do it on a schedule, and doesn’t provide any forewarning. It just happened again last week! We had guests coming down with cups of dirty water to show us, and one thought that the sewer was backing up! lol!

Guess the dirty water cleared up by the end of the video? That would be rather a turnoff for most. Not only showers and toilets, what about washing laundry (bed linens, towels, etc.) and dishes and all of the other stuff you use water for. Not something to shrug off easily, but look at ya'll! Seasoned Inn Daddies . And the nut guest.....you can't win can you? Tootles!

We have two - 7 Central and Charm Provincetown. The links are in the description of each episode (below the video). We have two rooms at 7 Central that we allow dogs, but they have to be under 35 pounds for insurance purposes. If the time comes and you want to book, call or email and we'll give you more details!

I ran the Inn on Castro in SFC for a number of years and it was an incredible experience. So stop whining, your attitude can be felt by your guests.

So sorry you perceive it like that. We’re just trying to be realistic, and guests have told us they love watching the “behind the scenes” and that they watch us when they want to feel like they are back in Provincetown. However, your comment has given us pause, and we thank you for that!
