Sabo just happen to be at the wrong place, at the wrong time. When I tell you this arc is peak, I mean it. It has everything, from epic battles, amazing storytelling, emotional moments, funny moments, and so much more. Final saga Oda is absolutely insane!
they wiped lulusia cos sabo was their they picked up his transmition and to be safe wiped everyone there incase sabo has said that to anyone around him
Spoilers: They wiped out lulusia not because of sabo, but because they wanted to test the mother flame and lulusia was near, literally said by Imu (not this episode but chapters ahead, the one with the gorosei title cards)

They were going to erase Lulusia regardless though it had nothing to do with Sabo that's why the one Elder said how unfortunate it was for Sabo to have been on Lulusia
The Egghead arc is going to change OP forever, animeonly are in for a treat. The fights and matchups are truly insane, I can't wait for it to be animated.
Keep in mind the staw hats ship is stated to be as huge as the attack on titan walls which really puts into perspective how huge that shark and onigashima were.
Size perspective is really stressed in this series and i love it. Thank god oda keeps regular size things around so we can compare otherwise we would all be lost🤣🤣🤣

You got the kitchen, the dining room, the crows nest, the observation room beneath the crows nest, choppers doctors office. The Library, the fishtank, the soldier docking system rooms, the Gaon cannons cockpit, frankys cola engine room to fire the Chicken Voyage, the Gaon Cannon and the Coup de Burst, namis chart room, the two sleeping rooms for both the boys and girls. The fully functional shower and bath, And it has room for several side cannons, a garden for ussops Pop Greens. It's a big ass ship🤣🤣🤣 and it fully accomodates ten people. Several of which are over nine feet tall.

I'm anime-only, so I don't know more than you guys do, but that "being" destroying the island is definitely Imu-sama (same eyes, same siluette, same butterfly-motif).
Imu got that boss music theme like in a video game, Imu is really the final villain Blackbeard or Imu, either of these two is gonna be a big problem BUT Imu is always gonna be the most evil one
i feel like when bb finally meets with imu they gonna team up cos they will both acknowledge each others cunningness and itll be same as big mom kaido vs worst but in place of them itll be bb and imu and the 5 elders vs the whole world

I feel like bb will be the last villain, oda said that one piece will end with Luffy finding the one piece. So war against the government will be before and I think bb vs Luffy will happens at laughtale
just for clarification, the reason why the world government attacked lulusia was due to them siding with the revolutionary army not because of Sabo. in episode 880 you can see the revolutionary army's captains liberating the island. Sabo was just conveniently at the island when they were preparing to attack it, that's why one of the elders said he's a unlucky man.

Imu's name is revealed earlier in the series, and we see Lulusia's liberation get assisted by the Revolutionary Army earlier as well. If you remembered that scene and combine it with the dialogue here stating that Sabo is unlucky when they learned he was at Lulusia, it adds up that Lulusia was the target and Sabo was just collateral damage. Especially since the attack on Lulusia happens mid-call with Sabo, which makes it hard to believe that they were able to learn where Sabo was and mobilize whatever weapon they used to wipeout his location within seconds, all without even communicating Sabo's location to anyone other than those already in the room. The only "spoiler" here is a recap later that spells out the reason the island was destroyed for the people that couldn't put it together.
Politics for me in one piece is literally my fav thing, the 100 year void where no one knows what happened makes more sense for me after this episode. Crazy good story telling
I just started reading the manga to avoid spoilers and I was worried the anime wouldn't hit anymore but my god even as a manga reader I wasn't ready for this peak!
Do you recall Doflamingo using an attack referencing '16 Holy Candles?' It is homage to the 16 death beams that erased Lulusia ... he knows about it hence why he has leverage against the World Nobles.
I'm shocked at their initial reaction of Imu, has their fanbase not been informing them about Imu during the Reverie arc? The massive revelation during that arc is what? No one is allowed to sit on the Empty Throne. "Not even the Five Elders or the World Nobles, as its vacancy symbolizes that the world is not ruled by a single figure, sending a message of peace by making all royals equal before it with none greater or lesser than the other". As the Gorosei walk towards the throne, they see this enigmatic figure walk up to the throne and sit on the Empty Throne and then the Gorosei kneel before the figure with red eyes, what does this mean within the context of the story? IMU IS THE SECRET KING OF THE WORLD!
I don't think even manga readers can anticipate what the ending of OP will be. There are still fans out there they say the final battles will be against akainu or blackbeard lmao The global threat that will envolope the world goes far deeper then that, at least a thousand years deeper.

As a manga reader even we don't know much about that being , even his or her gender we don't know but that being name is imu. This arc is the craziest out of all arcs
People love this episode but it's like still half a chapter or so...we still got bad pacing. If jjk did this people would complain lol, if jjk does 3 chapt people complain there isnt enough peak. Sometimes one piece can blow up an island and have the crew chill and and a mystery box and coast cause people will scream peak, jjk does it's most popular arc and people complain it isn't as good as the best series in existance lol. just something i noticed still good ep.
@@nichescenes I understand what you are saying but people who are watching one piece for at least 6 months are already use to it's pacing and jjk, demon slayer or other new gen anime people expectation is becoming more and more toxic even if we got best animation till this date in jjk, demon slayer because of which even best arcs of these series can't satisfy them now . This type of thing didn't happen with old gens like one piece,naruto , bleach etc because their fans enjoy every single moment even if they are fillers or an actual big arc
100% agree. One piece pacing aint so bad...the one piece adaptation should fix it. But i imagine when that comes out by episode 3 you'll get mal ratings of 7 and how its not as good as the original and overhyped and how they thought one piece was peak i fell asleep not as hype as ____ long runner. Fans who are new also grew up on demon slayer and expect all series to be that pace and look its crazy. I used to get sakuga only on the final battle and for about a minute and loved it, now we get it several times an episode and entire eps and people complain that it's not peak. @@r.tempest8542
maybe its luffy's mom. Don't @ me if its true, they mentioned something like that in the video and it had me thinking why not oda been pulling stuff like gear 5 and luffy is chosen one so he's ok with that sorta stuff. Most likely it's a person from the past who has the fruit to keep them young and they fought against people in the past and now they keep the space dudes that are mean happy as their ansestors of the people 800 years ago and one piece is where they all including all yonko come together at a giant time machine and go back to cause the freeing of the people in the past hence why they say luffy is nika but he's just past future luffy fighting in the past, then it makes sense why last king of pirates said were too early to activate the time machine and he laughs as the person who does it will bring him back and then luffy makes all oceans connect and the series ends with each strawhat retiring in a different land they visited and luffy marries nami lol.@@kiilee5963
This is why i call this arc: “Nostalgia Piece” and the opening and ending actually adds credibility to that. You guys are in for such an incredible emotional roller coaster, literally every emotion will be felt and intensified. I still shed tears about blank weeks after, im still enraged at blank weeks after, im excited at all the reveals and lore and hype moments that we have been getting, This is going to be the most Nostalgic you guys will feel in a long time, Pre Time Skip Vibes in this arc for sure. this is the one guys, we’ve all been saying, Egghead is going to be one of the best Arcs and we can’t wait for your reactions. Belz actually made a point about Marijois holding the last Poneglyph and funny enough, its similar to the way “a certain character” actually thinks in the story. As far as Sabo’s escape, without spoiling, lets just say this. He saw the green light from his position, and to what you said, he can’t go underwater or underground because if you go back and check, That attack made a Hole in the Sea where that island that never existed was supposed to be. Reminiscent of the same hole in Enies Lobby. So as far as Sabo’s fate goes… the truth will come eventually. And as far as the truth that the Gorosei wants to cover up, remember the whole reason the Empty Throne exists, them finding out that someone actually sits upon the throne then entire time would literally break them, they will go against their own perception, thats how dangerous this is, thats like Clover almost saying the name of the Ancient Kingdom, the Gorosei demanded he be killed before he said the name, what could be so threatening to them if people know the name? What is the ancient kingdom called? Lots to think about and a lot of it is all coming together in this arc.
Best part about this arc is there is always something interesting happening in every chapter. Wano felt really dragged out cuz oda was holding lot of information back but since final saga he is not holding back anymore.
But ailens do exist in one piece, enel went to the moon and met terrestrials...technically aliens and we know this already. Maybe one piece is ability to go to other planets then you can have one piece part 2 where someone else draws it for infinite money. @@orbboom6119

Egghead is probably inspired Astro boy. A few fun facts(NONE of these are spoilers and were revealed in the manga pre-timeskip) One Piece planet follows a geocentrism (placing Earth at the centre of the universe) orbit. We've seen aliens on the moon because Enel reached the moon and he works with them. This was revealed in cover stories.
I love how soon we're gonna get an Imu reveal through its voice! The manga didnt statuate on anything regarding Imu but once it speaks in a few episodes we'll be able to figure out if it's human-like or not and if it' male or female. I'm betting on a devilish female humanoid species
Think back to Ennis Lobby before Strawhats beat CP9. Under Ennis Lobby was the same hole in the Ocean as Lulusia. I have not seen any confirmation or link between the two but the holes look pretty similar.

For those who doesn't clearly know what Lulusia Kingdom is.. This is the Island that the Revolutionary Commanders Introduced in this Island in the Reverie Arc were the help of Civilians fight the Pirates..
So my theory is that whatever that weapon was that destroys the island that sabo was on is what made the giant hole in the sea where enies lobby is. It looks just like it once the island gets destroyed so void century there was an island where enies lobby is now and the weapon used is Uranus one of the ancient weapons like pluton and Poseidon.
I think the Gorosei might be in control of Uranus, one of the Three Ancient Weapons. I think we know that Pluton is a ship whose blueprints Franky had destroyed, and Shirahoshi is Poseidon so only Uranus is left!
1) Either that is one of the Ancient Weapons. 2) Imu is in contact with the aliens on the moon that's under Enel's control. 3) That's a weapon created by VegaPunk... But Now we know why God Valley isn't listed on ANY map
You gonna have so many things to "eat" in this Arc , really good Arc. Just after the ending and before the trailer of the next episode, you have a small chibi episode wih some good infos.
This is not a spoiler and this is not from the manga. This is more like a theory. That thing that hit Lulusia was the last Ancient Weapon after Poseidon and Pluton, "Uranus". And I believe it has like a cooldown, to use it again. Coz that thing is so op, it has to have a cooldown for sure.
Might be a shot in the dark, but Sabo said he saw this unbelievable thing at Marijoa. I’m thinking this “Empty Throne” he’s talking about might have Joyboy’s corpse still sitting on it

Everyone saying how egghead is the best arc ever, but it really isn't just delogated to egghead, I think since the final saga began. The story it self has moved at a much more rapid pace. Gone are the drawn out moments of inconsequental value and using fodder characters to stall for time. Oda is really changing the entire structure of OP as you know it. I think something like this happen around new world saga as well comparable to pre-time skip. only this time its now even a tighter woven plot. That is why I always like to split OP into its 3 phases with this obvously being the last phase of the story.
If you think about it, that hole made in lulucia looks like the hole in enies lobby where there was a giant hole and a small island in the middle of it
