I turned 30 this year. I felt like my life is over, I am not married. Not at a place in my career that I would be satisfied with. But since I turned 30, I had a good promotion , started working towards a dream, had my first international trip and spoke at a global panel. This , 30, is just the beginning. I can't wait to see what the world holds. 🎉
Me 22 but touch wood don't have any gray😂😭 scared for my 23rd next year lol but I feel like my whole life got delayed by like 2.5 years cuz of my gap after school during COVID ugh can't wait for this degree and job 😢 on the other hand had my first international trip at 12/13
Same. I felt like a loser myself. Completed my studies at 25, and I was jobless for 5 years. I turned 30 this year, got my dream job & a life partner. ♥️
Listen to your silence within , make a mind shift , make unconventional choices, come out of your comfort zone..And u wil have magical experiences. Then age doesn't matter...
'Checking out the body' part was the most relatable to me. I only take selfies (at a certain flattering angle) and perceive my appearance in a more refined way. Recently, a colleague clicked a picture of us during a work event and when I looked at myself, I really did think 'who's this person?'. I was slouchy, my thighs looked wider, my jawline was non-existent! 😅 I was really humbled that day! 😂
I feel u!!! 😂 Here I was living in my bubble of zero exercise doesn’t mean I wont be super fit & athletic ! And then I saw the video & I was shattered 😂
You’re the coolest influencer we have! #OGteam You can literally change a person’s outlook towards things! Same thing about scars and same thing for aging. Max love for you! 🦋
I am 26 and I watch these videos "things no one tells you in your 20's" and "30's" every year again and again. One more added to the list. Relatable and on point. Thank you Sherry making RU-vid still normal. :D
Why is it so relatable even if I am not 30 🥺. Its so good to see people talking about the imperfections, harmonal changes in the body and what not, which changes your appearance after a certain age. Thank you so much for speaking out loud about this!
Nerves popping everywhere and specially on hands, didn’t know that was also with age. Turning 40 in two days, I won’t say I am very comfortable the way I look now but this video has made me a bit relaxed and just accept how things are. I have always related to what you said over the years I have been following you. Thanks Sherry
I've been following you since my teen years and now I'm in my late 20s but i feel like this is what every elder around us should start telling instead of making us feel inferior about our looks or career or relationships.. whenver i watch your videos I get positive and calm energy to live up my life to the fullest without judging myself.. thank you so much Sherry for existing and being the best youtuber since forever 😘♥
OMG Sherry, I am turning 36 in two days and I could resonate with this so much. I was like hmmm yes, oh yes, ohhh yes at every point you made. Loved it. Lots of love to you😘😘
I remembered your video of the things to keep in mind while turning 30, made me realise how long it’s been and how we all are growing old together, always a fan of your work ❤
Love you Sherry ❤. You are as real as Real can be! Am 42 and i could not take care of my health ( which happens with most women, when we put ourself last). Now i can't remember what a painfree body feels like 😂. Each point u mentioned is absolutely right. God bless you always. Those in their teens, pls take care of your health, and then everything / everyone else.
This is what I like about internet these day, people talking about this small transition. I believe a lot of us are going through it, but some of us really freak out, and when we see such videos, it gives a relief that oh it's normal, others are going through it as well. 😊
Thanks a lot Sherry for this video! I am 40 now and I wish someone had told me all this when I was in my 30s. All the points that you spoke about are something that I and most women in their 30s go through. Loads of love ❤️❤️and kudos to you for always keeping it real.
I have a babysitter for my youngest son, she is around 48 and not a single grey hair. And her skin is so amazing. Only uses baby powder that I use for my son
Dental check-ups. The dentist is an important person in your life. Oral health gets important. Bad breath and gaps in teeth increase, enamel wears, tooth sensitivity increases, and unless treated you cant enjoy your ice cream or drinks
Are you following me!!!! ..I turned 37 this May😅 just joking. Last year you did a video taking a health insurance when we enter 30s. I wanted but could not do it. This year I have opted for HIP as I noticed body is changing drastically. Thanks for that topic. This year I will learn to apply sunscreen even at home😂 This is the best time when we are thinking about wellness- physical, mental, emotional and working towards it. Let's age gracefully. Wish you a very Happy Birthday 🎈
I needed dis video very badly tankoooo ❤ How to deal with questions about kids ? Ur 36 wn r u gonna have kids ! Look at ur age diz is already too late ! All dese 🫣 Please make one video on diz topic 🙏
What a lovely, thoughtful video Sherry. It was a relief to see someone talk about something real, in a world of content where a lot of it seems make belief. ❤
This is so awesome Sherry, Aging in women is such a controversial topic in our indian society and we will do everything to avoid it, but it is inevitable so why cant we accept it and even embrace it. what other option do we have, the only way to avoid aging is to to be dead. i have been having conversations with my mom and my friends how we should be proud that we are old. Thank you for this video Sherry, Looking forward to more such videos. Lots of love ❤
What a coincidence! 😮 I just watched your video & I went to comb my wet hairs. Volaa! I saw my first ever pair of grey hairs screaming out joyfully "Hi, we are here, finally!" 😅 I w'll be 31 this December. Pheww, years passed by so quickly. Now it's time to accept & cherish aging gracefully. It's hard but fun at the same time.😁 (No other option though😂)
I'm in my early 20s ...today I learned a lot from you , you totally change my perspective to life , which people in general hardly talk about . Thank you Sherry ❤🫂
I turned 34 this year, and most of the things you mentioned (except maybe for the fact the physical body challenging coz of loss of elasticity) nothing else has happened to me….I don’t work out either. Bottom like - I don’t think you can generalize this! Each one of the of us see different effects depending on genes and what we did in our 20’s including our dietary habits.
Hello Sherry from Kolkata, this video is one of the best as I'm in my 40s n still ignore so many this sply i dont chk myself in mirror. Thr r so many this happening with me but i keep on ignoring. This video is eye opening for me. Thank you 😊
Could you please make a video on how do you de-stress/ deal with stress generally? I feel your videos are a good guide to any topic that you talk about 😌
That last line that you mentioned " That everybody ends becoming clone of each other" So true sherry, it's so visible and real these days. Your imperfections and your raw self is what your true and unique beauty is. Nowdays I find everyone the same, same hairstyle ,same haircolor same kwool trending fashion but lacks the raw filter is what makes me ponder. I'm in my 20's but been there in your journey since teen and definitely you have been the constant since then. I still try to be as simple and pretty and that's what everyone should. Simple living and happy living. 🥰
Love your honesty Sherry! I’m turning 40 this year and seriously dreading it (What’s the right age to invest in Botox?) but I guess I should just tell myself that 40 is the new 30😅
I think ageing is the biggest insecurity of women, but we have to be mentally prepared to Accept the changes our body shows gracefully,,... and its okay.. its normal... everyone passes through it.. Every point was relatable and absolutely felt and have noticed the same. 1 thing u missed i feel us larger pores... 😂
You are still very young and you LOOK young n cute Sherry . And I give you 10/10 for being so truthful n real. ❤. I am sick of this anti ageing terror, we are now subjected to. Especially women....we are taught at every step to demean and belittle ourselves....feel like we have no value unless we are a very young piece of Meat. I am so tired of it....even on media now I watch South films because they are so realistic and people look like people...full of flaws and charm..instead of plasticky looking people...have u noticed how scared women look...with their botoxed faces that are afraid to smile or feel anything....they just all look similarly panicky. No matter how much Botox n fillers they have "everyone knows" that their look of no wrinkles, Stretched n puffed skin comes medically. Also women...even men I am sure...are made to feel like they should just disappear as soon as they cross the Youth zone. 😢. Aging is just real.....and unavoidable. And yeah plastic doesn't age....so if u want to be plastic....Go ahead.
I'm in my early twenties and I'm telling you i have forehead wrinkles, crow's feet and smile lines 😢 they are still mild but girl i have more pigmentation than you abd it feels bad😞 i have started aging too early 🥺
