Hey Radhi ! Thanks for your tips ! Quick question : How long did it take you to notice some improvement in your hair ? Also where can we find the recipe for the shikakai amla shampoo/mask ?

Hi Radhi ma'am!!! You won't believe my mom and I always oil our hair twice a week and massage while oiling. After oiling we put our hair in a plait coz like you said we do have long hair.. but these days I've seen most of my friends having thinner n shorter hair coz they don't oil it.. maybe this social media beauty standard has changed the lifestyle our ancestors showed to us..Great initiative to remind us not to forget our ROOTS😅 Thank you very much for this video ❤

I started using lityleextra reactivate serum for hair growth which has rosemary because my hair was quickly falling out due to stress and similar reasons. I was only looking for anything at all to try, so this had been suggested, therefore I decided for it. In a few days, I myself noticed significantly less hair loss when I brush my hair. I also spotted where I began getting patches of loss, there existed new growth. It actually irritate my skin a little right near the forehead hairline, therefore I apply a band to keep it from running down whilst also keeping the head tilted back during application. The irritation went away and has not returned, therefore if your skin is sensitive or simply to be careful, I recommend a hairband to keep it from running down to your skin. Overall, I'm so pleased with this serum and can carry on to use.

I improved my hair by doing all these things: Including more and more Vitamin C from orange, lemon, and kiwi fruit, 8 hours of enough sleep everyday, have nuts such as walnut, peanut, almonds in limited, you can also eat fish like salmon. Exercise a minimum of 30 mins everyday. Using natural coconut plus onion based shampoo, neem wooden comb, scalp massager by Littleextra Cooconion twice a week. All this is good for hair fall control.

In Nepal we heat mustard oil and add fenugreek seed on a hot oil until the seed is competely black. It only takes about 2-3 minutes to do this, it's super hot so we let it cool for a while until it's lukewarm and apply to our hair. This oil can be used on your body aswell. We use this oil on new born babies as it is considered safe and helps retain moisture and heat. I remember as a child my grandmother lathering me up in this oil from head to toe and braiding my hair hehe.

Hi Radhi, this is so great. Im sri lankan french and oiling has been part of my life since i was small. Its crazy that now it has become so trendy - or that it is accepted, whereas when i was small i used to be so ashamed. Im really really glad that u made this video. We should be proud of oiling our hair, of that heritage thats been passed from generations and of all the benefits we get from it. I hope this video will help others as well. Just sending love. ❤

My Turkish grandmother and mother would preach that nigella seeds and garlic are really good at helping with hair loss. When my aunt was around 14 she had her appendix removed but due to the doctors mistake she got an infection and her to undergo another surgery. She almost died and was in really bad health afterwards. My grandmother would put nigella seeds into almost everything they ate and now my aunt has really thick and nice hair. Lovely video by the way!

Hello from Sri Lanka. Guess we share a lot of similarities. Our main source of hair oil is coconut, Amal and king coconut. But after I moved abroad for uni, sadly I rarely oil my hair (and leave it) because people tend to look weirdly. But yeah.. Thanks for reminding me how important it is.

My fiancé is Punjabi and he and his family use mustard oil for their hair. They all have beautiful healthy hair. When I went to India my mother in law would soak my head with mustard oil and give me a head massage then braid my hair. I use it now here in America and also use rosemary oil.

These tips are awesome! Thank you! ❤ My mum started losing huge patches of hair after covid too! Sections got coarse and wiry too. She was so worried it would be her “new normal” because of her age. Got her oiling and massaging with a rosemary and herbal oil and within about a month, her hair was growing in better than ever. These techniques definitely work. (Now if I can just find something that neutralizes psoriasis flares reliably, I’ll be set. 😄)

I would like to mention a few Leave your thumb and rub the nails of all other fingers for a few minutes daily Prithvi mudra for 20 minutes daily Applying a few drops oil( almond/ coconut) on scalp and hair length after hair is dried post shower. This helps to keep the hair moistue and supple for days without to having hair shower frequently Shashankasana, sarvangasana, paschimotharasana, padahasthasana practiced regularly helps hair growth as it improves blood flow to the head and upper parts of the body Adding curry leaves, fenugreek leaves to oil helps Consuming Indian gooseberry on regular basis. Its such superfood. I now have shoulder length hair but I did all this very regularly when I decided to donate my mane in it's best state. It really worked Amazing for me.

My hair was growing as long as yours is till earlier this month and I felt so miserable because it was dry and falling like mad and my scalp just kept itching and I'm balding a bit near the temples heh .. so I simply just cut it all off to chin length! I've had short hair before but not in a long time now. I haven't had such sleek bouncy happy hair since my childhood! (Indian here. My hair grows super fast. I love using henna+tea as a hair mask once a month or so, it benefits dark hair a lot even though it wont impart much colour unless you view your hair through the sunlight. And I LOVE the oil massages/champi. If you can do indigo after henna, or use indigo oil, your hair will remain glossy and black. Curd mask, egg mask and hibiscus tea or oil are some other things I use.)

You are the cutest 🥰 THANK YOU for all of these tips! I’ve made my own natural hair masks, but have been afraid of oiling, since my hair hasn’t taken well to most kinds. I didn’t know that coconut oil does better in humid/hot weather THATS WHY IT WORKED ONCE & not continuously. I live in the coldest USA states, so…. 😅 I’ll have to try some of this! My hair has always been longish, but not healthy. After chopping it-it’s shown promise, but I need to get back to nourishing it. I’ll try some of these things!

Thanks for the information 🥰 I use Black Seed oil (slows down greying 🤭) or Ghee during summer. I find Amla oil abit too heavy for my fine hair. It’s abit of trial and error depending on the types of hair. Ps: Dr Vanita recently mentioned Not to oil the scalp in her hair video. Have u seen that?

I think learning your dosha type helps to. Switching to wood or bamboo brushes, comb, scalp massager is beneficial. It helps the oil distribute better.

Coconut Oil, Red palm oil, cold pressed palm oil (There are over 50 different types of palm oils that are native to different to specific countries in the world) and Avocado oil are the only oils that have small enough molecules to get inside of the Medulla or the heart of the Hair. pLus Avocado and Coconut have the opposite electric charge then the Heart centers, this means that together they will act like two complementary magnetic charges and the Oil will get pulled into the hair.
