We spent a weekend exploring Dubai in September of 2019 with our (then) 8 month old son George. On route to Thailand, we chose the City in the desert as our stop off point for both legs of our journey. Despite experiencing highs of 47C (melting!) there was still plenty of activities for adults, families and babies. The malls have everything you could need or desire, from an aquarium to an ice rink to a ski slope. They have left no stone unturned! In part one we visit one of several malls, brunch at the Ritz Carlton and check out the famous Marina.
