Say what you want about Halo 5, the map editor is probably one of the best features and that map is actually pretty damn impressive and it looks great.
To answer the question, Yes some of the Younglings fight Anakin. They lose obviously but Obi-Wan and Yoda watch a video of Anakin killing Younglings and some of them are fighting back.
The older younglings who had gotten their lightsabers, known as Initiates, were the ones who fought... the younglings didn't stand a chance. Originally the bit where Obi-Wan watches the hologram was longer, possibly even seeing Anakin murder Shaak Ti. ROTS was originally supposed to be 4 hours, so a lot got cut out.

Best part is, near the end of that one stream, I was the one who started the "Kill The Younglings" again at the QnA, then he said questions only, so I started "Can you kill the younglings?" "Will you kill the younglings?" "Have the younglings been killed yet?" And then everyone joined in. Probably the best internet interaction I've ever had with just total strangers.
Except the whole free market excuse is bullcrap, just check the incidents from before NN was established, it won't take long for the big corps to start screwing with things

According the Canon Finn was able to use a light Saber solely since as a storm trooper they are trained with a Saber, i.e. a normal sword. Therefore Finn was trained to use a sword and that transfered to him using the light Saber as well as he did. Also fun fact, George Lucas wanted to originally make storm troopers have light sabers and just all around be more common place, however due to limitations of special effects he limited them to the jedi and the sith.
The kids fought. They got dead as shit, but they still fought. Remember the hologram showing Anakin killing them? Remember the kid trying to escape with the eyepatch guy that killed 3 troopers?
The decision still has to go through Congress and the Supreme Court (I'm being really hopeful that they get their heads out of their asses, for once). But even if NN is lost, we'll probably have a few months left before it all goes to hell

The you flings did fight back, but with the superiority of anakin and the 501st all trying to kill them it’d be hard to survive. Some got close to escaping, but failed.
