Well, it would have been free...YES, FREE, but the yacht club unfortunately is being dismantled as we speak. The city refused to renew the club's land lease, and has commandeered the building and marina the yacht club paid for and built without the city's contribution. People wonder Port Arthur fails so miserably while the most expensive and sought after property everywhere else in the world is near the water, this is why. When the people in control have zero regard for anything or anyone else, and they focus solely on their own self interests, even the best opportunities are doomed to fail.

anyone coming to the area stays in port arthur hotels, and it's the occupancy tax from those hotels that funds these types of promotions... so Groves gets promoted for free.. I'd say that's a positive thing...
