During our trip to the Yucatan, in Mexico we had the opportunity to visit the Yellow City Izamal. One of the best small towns in the Yucatan and this video will give you a good idea of things to do in Izamal, Mexico. This small town is North of Valladolid on the way to Merida. Izamal is also known as the Yellow City. What an amazing small little town in the Yucatan. Do not miss this town if you're visiting or on vacation here. We promise you, this town is a place that you will not forget. The church built around 500 years ago is absolutely amazing. Although I could not read much of the information in the Museum area it was still an awesome feeling just being in a building that old. The city is great, not very busy and some really cool shops and restaurants. In the video we show you a hotel in Izamal that you might want to check out and even stay at. $50 a night. I would only suggest staying one night here as there's not a ton to do. We were here in February and it was very hot, I could only imagine what it's like in the summer. There is a huge shopping area or Plaza in the Middle with fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, shoes and clothing, pretty much anything that you're looking to buy.
