I don’t ‘like’ most videos, but Jesus Christ this one is so thorough! I’ve been planning neurotically, but this video taught me a lot! Thanks for the advice about tipping too, that was a nice touch
Thanks for the tips! I am going in March and I am super excited to know the cherry blossoms start spawning around that time, the Wife ill be extremely happy with the surprise!
Hello! I recently booked a flight to DC on August 16th - 19th is August a perfect month to goto DC? Also, I looked at the PDF version I was wondering if it is updated! I'm very interested in buying prior to visiting! Thanks!
Thanks for the video, that's super helpful! One suggestion is to not put so much emotion on every single word in your narrative, that's annoying. Keep up the good work!
There were a bunch of people protesting in front of the white house and people were referring trump to a "dick head" Smithsonian museums there are really good
Ok I don't know who didn't notice but they showed a clip of 17th and Spring Garden Community College area THAT'S NOT DC THAT'S PHILADELPHIA SMH SAD , tryina pass that neighborhood off as DC, smh sad
Things to know before going to DC 1. It's rated the 67th (17th if only counting major cities) most dangerous city in the U.S. per Neighborhood Scout (violent crime rate 9.9/1,000 residents. Crime index is 3/100) 2. Metro sucks. It's not as bad as it was during the mid 2010s where it seemed every day there was a news report about something going on with Metro. But it still sucks. The "Unsuck DC Metro" Twitter page is still fairly active. 3. The city is a complete dump outside the tourists areas. If you're a tourist. STAY IN THE TOURIST AREA 4. Traffic is a nightmare. I-95 between DC and Fredericksburg is some of the most congested interstate in the country. Even people that move here from the LA area say it's worst here than there. And VDOT has no actual plans to fix it. You're welcome - a local.
