If you are being provided all the initial facilities by your employer or agency i.e, travel expenses, accommodation, GNIB, Critical Skills fee., then you can carry €1000 for a month as you will get your salary after 15 days of joining. Most of the employer reimburse the money. So in that case you need to carry more money to pay various expenses., approx €1500-2000.

Please note by reimbursement here I mean, you need to pay from your end first and then employer will reimburse it in your salary.

Most landlords provide a mattress. You can buy a quilt or duvet here, starting from €15.
