Things to see and do in Beautiful Bend Oregon. What to see, eat, and where to camp. Travel: Bend Oregon 201. This video showcases our Bend Oregon Camping trip. Trying to find a place to stay over Memorial Day weekend. Pretty much every single RV spot in Oregon was booked. Kim and I took a chance and hooked up the trailer on Thursday morning to see if we could find a spot. Fortunately someone cancelled their spot about 20 minutes south of Bend in LaPine State Park. We figured if all else failed we would just travel a little further south and take that spot although we hoped to be a little closer to town. Well at the end of the day we couldn't find a spot in near Bend so we took the spot in LaPine. Glad we did. What a beautiful area. Definitely Kim and I's favorite area or Oregon.
