Welcome to the Muddy Camper walk-though virtual tour of Tumalo State Park Campground near Bend, Oregon. In the video we walk through the campground and give you an idea of what each site has to offer.
Tumalo State Park Campground has 86 total campsites includin 23 full-hookups, 54 tent sites, 7 yurts for you glampers, and 2 large group campsites. There is running water, flushing toilets, showers and even a playground for the kids.
Tumalo State Park is a great place to stay when visiting Bend and it provides great access to so many nearby activities from skiing to swimming.

Were you at Tumalo 4 months ago? I am trying to find out if sites 76-89 are really only for tents, or can trailers camp there too? In your video one of those sites were occupied by a pop up trailer. But, when I g to the reservation site it says those sites along the river are for tents only, no RV/trailers allowed? And other places I don't see that warning. The sites look big enough to park in? Can you verify any of this?

I cant verify that for you... this was filmed this year so what you see is accurate. I do know some of those sites are practically walk in only. The parking pads are pretty short - even for a small trailer and may not have enough space for both a trailer and a vehicle. If you have a trailer I would just camp at the sites setup to accommodate a trailer. The ones next to the river dont provide river access as the shrubs are so thick you cant even reach the river on foot. All river access is across the road at the day use area.

Other than hike or bike in, can you hammock camp at tent sites?

Thanks, brand newbie here, but I did chat with someone in the parks & rec and was told once I pay for the site, I can do what I want, car, tent, van, hammock ;)
