You shouldnt need the tents, you need consistency..the only thing i saw that prolonged the process for you this time was stimulating them even more,by having the camera, talking in a stressed mama voice, putting the big lights on and running round creating contingencies..which were encouraging them to test the contingencies. Keep doing the normal sleep routine, tuck down ,say goodnight, intervene before anyone gets fully up .not when they get out..very few words,just calm direction..after 3 or 4 nights they will know whats not going to work and should settle more easily. I dont like to let little ones cry it out,but if theyre crying,use minimal calming ,shushing, etc so they know your still requiring them to settle..yes twins can be double trouble,but theyre also very likely to key into each other and being consitent will help both understand more quickly.

Would not tolerate biting or pulling hair. Remember, you are the parent, you set the rules. You need to say no, and be firm. Child bites are not good. You have to mean no, if they see you smiling or laughing they will not take you serious. They are old enough to understand. And you tell the child that hurts, show him the bite, they will cry but it sends a message. Not lecturing just giving you ideas.

@@debwhite5281CPS have made more mistakes than should be legally allowed. Look at how many children died because they see proof of abuse or neglect and don't remove the child to a safer environment. Either with a relative or monitored foster family. 1 child was taken after several yrs with a great foster family and returned to a mother that continually put the child back into the same abusive environment. That boy ended up beaten to death . CPS shouldn't exist unless they are seriously monitored and make major changes.

I have twins and at ten months old they were climbing out of their cribs. We put them in twin beds and I literally sat on a chair between their beds and put them back in bed as soon as they got out. It took about a week and they were used to the new routine and went to bed with no problems. I know it is hard but you have to keep a straight face with no laughing at them or they will think it is a big game.

Seems like their naps might be to long before putting them to bed at 6pm. Maybe shortening their naps a little and putting them to bed at 8pm they will be more tired. Maybe being more firm, and less like your their best friend and more authoritative. When they are doing wrong and you walk around and laugh they will do it more and more.

AS a twin I can say go for the transition to toddler beds. Having had a child with sleep problems, I highly recommend changing your night time pattern. I worked with the sleep Clinic at Children's Hospital in Boston to train my son how to sleep. Your rocking each child and bight lights are exciting the kids rather than calming them down. Also Mav should say good night to them before not after they are in their beds

Crandell, The project is looking great so far. Nice job.👍 Marci, if one of the twins shows interest in using the potty Put him on it. He clearly is really. As for the twins sleep situation. You're making this harder than it has to be. Don't film it laugh or keeping going into their bedroom. Have Maverick do his goodnight to the twins then do your normal bed routine. Kiss them goodnight and tell them it's bedtime/nap time. Turn the light off and walk out. You can lay blankets on the floor next to the cribs for safety. If they get out of the crib. Then put them back in and say it's bedtime or nap time. If they do it a 3 rd and beyond. Put them back in the crib and say nothing to them. Consistency. -that's the key. Keep doing this and don't give up or start crying, laughing ect. In front of them ever. They eventually will go to sleep. Keep Maverick occupied with quite time during the routine. Cucumber, tomato and onion salad is the best. Good luck. You will get through this,Marci.

Move your new chair to hallway, pick up all toys where they can't reach or find them, put them in the toddler beds, a baby gate on door, "it's bed time", sit in your chair and correct them when they get up. Ignore crys. This will make you crazy for about a week, but it will train them. Let them fall asleep on the floor. When they are asleep move them to their bed. They will wake up in their own bed. It's hard on mom, but the boys have to know boundaries. You may need to leave baby gate up for a year or so, till they won't wander. Do your best.

I just transitioned to toddler beds, and dealt with the bad behavior. I used to tell my kids that I could out last anything they did...lol ....you are doing great, and they are your kids. You know them best! God bless you all! ❤

Dang. I told y’all a while back about the tent. And the boys wouldn’t be able to climb out. But now they know they can. So it’ll be pointless now. Maybe. Oh yes! U mentioned it! Yes. The mattress one is the one I always had. And the netting is good. Climb in their crib after u put it on and u can see. I did and it was fine. I put a temperature gauge in my son’s crib and it was exactly the same. It’s helped me and my son 100%. I actually got it bc we had scorpions real bad. It’s been a life saver 4sure. When my son got a little older he started opening the doors. So then I “locked” them. With a safety-pin. That lasted a long time before he figured out how to open the safety-pins. lol. It was super nice having. I knew he was safe. I got the all white one. The top netting is super thin. And it has a zipper door on the front and back. Wraps around the crip mattress. It was by far the best thing I got for a baby. There’s no air circulation problems at all. No temp difference. I just hope it would still work. Now that they know they can crawl out. I put my sons on when he wasn’t even crawling yet. But that’s bc bugs. I didn’t want nothing getting him. And also having two. They work out and figure stuff out together and follow each other. So it’s definitely going to be harder. Now that my son is a bit older now. I still have a tent on his bed. But it’s not locked and he comes and goes as he wants. I have to have something protecting him. I hate bugs. No matter how much I get someone to spray. There’s still critters.

My son learned to get out of his crib at that age also. I switched to a toddler bed and baby proofed his room and would close the door. When he got out of bed he would just play in his room until he got tired. I put a camera in his room so i could see what he was doing. Not a whole lot you can do to keep them in bed. If you don't want to transition i would get the crib tent that just hooks to top of crib.

If it rains before roof won't walks get wet. I usually see roof before interior walls

How do they do a roof before walls?
@Og-Judy
@Og-Judy 21 день назад
They usually ROUGH in interior walls before they set trusses or rafters so there is room to move. It only matters to have the roof on to "dry in" everything to start finishing work . THAT'S when wiring and plumbing and stuff is run and THEN hang dry wall.

Roughing in interior wall with 2 x 4s. Not talking about hanging sheet rock. That's much later

People don’t realize that underneath all electric lift chairs there is a 9volt battery, so when the power goes out you are not stuck in the up position!

When my daughter was the boys age, I had a huge problem with her sleep. What you did was the right way to go. Not making eye contact and just picking them up and putting them back in their bed and saying NO. You are the parent, and you know how you want to get them to sleep. We all have/had our own way of getting our children to sleep. My youngest loved her sleep and would be down for 18 hours, I'd have to wake her for her bottle.

Marcie, I know you have a routine but maybe a later bedtime will help and we are headed for fall so it should get darker earlier.

Marci, all mom's go through the "bed" problem. Hate to say it. But, it's time for toddler beds. ❤ I would have just pulled the mattress out of the crib and put it on the floor ❤❤

I do! Maverick I do love you! Oh Crandall, between forgetting your computers, forgetting to text the directions and then to top it off you got tacos from y’all’s fav place and didn’t get Marci ani? Be stern Mama. You can do it. Watch your curtain. He can pull on it I think. I put fish net on top of my cribs. Mine couldn’t get thru it. I agree with the person who said to lower the crib. Thank you for the video.

That chair looks amazing! I sit on the dining room chair because I can't get off the couch. So wish i could afford something like that! Game changer!
