We visited Wisconsin (Door County and The Dells) in October 2022 to hike, eat and sight-see. Join us in this episode as we enjoy some great stops in two state parks, a county park that is unlike any other in the country, a restaurant that has a unique feature you're not going to believe, and much more. Hey ya’ll! We’re Jimmy and Paula, and we’re on a mission across America for some fun-filled, faith-fueled adventures (especially hiking and experiences in the great outdoors). When our son, Jacob, graduates from college in December 2022, we’re hitting the road for an extended trip in our campervan, The Mission Machine. Great video! MY husband and I have been married 38 years and we've been to Door County 3 times and will be going again next week with our kids and grandkids! If you've never been to Washington Island on one of your trips you need to make that a stop next time! I'm looking forward to seeing some more of your vlogs in the future. :)

We did visit Washington Island while we were there, and we made another Door County video that includes that excursion.. Great video. We are headed back here the first part of September. We went 2 years ago and head a wonderful time (the first part of October) and this time going with our friends who just retired and wanted to see what all the excitement was about. The trip will start in Maine with stops in coxsackie, ny, bushkill falls, pa., Dubois, pa. Shipswanna, in., mars cheese castle, sturgeon bay, mackinaw, mi., frankenmuth, onto Watkins glen, Saratoga ny Bennington vt then home

So beautiful in the county park. When we were there intrepid youngsters were jumping off the cliff into the lake. I talked to you both outside Al Johnson’s restaurant and butik in Sister Bay. Glad to finally see the vid of your travels in Door County. Favorite place of ours. We vacation there often. God bless.😊

Excited to see what you have in store for all of us in Wisconsin. Loved this first video. My top 5: 1. Cave Point- so beautiful. The access points to the shoreline and just listening to the water. 2. Whitefish Dunes- water, waves and walking along the beach area. 3. Eagle Tower views and Paula’s chili. Sounds like a perfect ending to a perfect day. 4. Hot Chocolate and all that homemade whip cream at Al’s ❤. Not sure about Swedish meatballs for breakfast. 🤔 5. Goats on the roof! So cool. I would love to see that.

This area looks amazing! I am Canadian and I adore all of Northern Michigan and the UP. I Have also done the Lake Superior Circle Tour. But I am super interested in Door County as it showcases the Niagara Escarpment. We have 900 km of the escarpment through Ontario and I have hiked its entirety (Bruce Trail). Like to watch your video it’s beautiful park, and lake in door county but you didn’t share the name of state park and what part of door county so if we want to visit we will know where to go I had been to door county one time had stay at sister bay and tour the Washington island. but had seem all thing you two post on your channel my name also Paula good to hear your name as my name too thank you.

The state parks that we visited were Whitefish Dunes State Park near Sturgeon Bay (this surrounds Cave Point County Park) and Peninsula State Park near Fish Creek. We really enjoyed both of these parks. Hope you get to go there and enjoy them for yourself.
