What is your impression of Buc-Ee's?

Buc ees is not just a gas station, it’s an experience and a treasure to Texans. I’m lucky to live close to the New Braunfels location.

A northern friend was visiting, and I made sure to bring him to Buc-ee's, telling him it is the only gas station that doubles as a tourist attraction. On the way home from Choctaw Casino, we stopped at a tourist info center to see if I was forgetting any attractions he would like. While talking with the lady at the counter, the lady asked if I had brought him to Buc-ee's yet. He realized then that I had _not_ been exaggerating!

I just recently experience a Buc eea for the first time. OMG, it’s like a WaWa, Shertz and Wal Mart got together, tripled their size and made it Black Friday. Amazing. Place. We’ll never pass one by.

All the Big Wigs at the end with their fresh hard hats and fancy suits all posing, shoveling and smiling like they know what its like to have a shovel in their hand in the field 😂

My friends and family from Massachusetts were AMAZED at the awesomeness of this place!!!!!

My Son stopped at the Bucees in Richmond,Ky. Heading North to Indiana. There Beaver nuggets puffed caramel are the bomb. You won't be disappointed.

If you buy anything except gasoline there be prepared to pay at least 25% more for items you purchase in the store.

I described it to a friend as, "If a Costco and a gas station had a baby, they would name it Buc-ee's." When I finally got to take her to the Colorado location, she said the description fit.

Their gas and diesel is always cheaper than any stations near it.Cleanest restrooms,nice quick stop to get food to go.

I have never met a homeless person, convict or any any government subsidized entity that didn't rave about it. We had families that actually planned their vacations around our grand opening, some traveling upwards of 200 miles from their back yard.

Never been yet I love this place my sis has been multiple times and was even nice enough to get me a bucees mascot pajama zip up onesie best cozy gift ever it as dirt cheap and made of great quality materials

There's good reasons why Buc-Ee's doesn't allow big-rigs except for those making product deliveries for themselves. Their lots are paved for passenger vehicles like buses, RVs, light duty trucks, and cars plus they don't have maintenance facilities for tractor-trailers for one. For the other reason, go to any Pilot, Flying J, TA, or Loves' truck stops and look at how the truckers treat the lots that are intentionally set up for them to use. Broken tractor-trailer parts everywhere, oil stains, overflowing bags of trash including with human fecal matter, and bottles of urine everywhere. Maybe if the truckers kept the places they visited a bit cleaner than when they found them, Buc-Ee's might allow them access. As it stands, just shoulder-park along the highway and walk over if you're a trucker. They'll gladly serve you then.

I think Buc-ees should have a truck stop next door... maybe call it Truc-ees (not to be confused with Truckee CA which has a truck stop by the way). It would be for trucks only, and only truckers would be allowed in so it may not be as clean and the general public won't have to deal with it being a bit sub-par but better than most truck stops. The food could be cooked at the Buc-ees and golf carted over to Truc-ees. Most truckers would abide by the rules and not abuse the bathrooms. They could have showers and even quiet rooms where truckers without sleepers can get rest. Trouble makers are documented as such and kicked out never to return. Maybe a thumb print ID system to use the pumps and get into the building.

I Love their restrooms!!! Always know it's going to be clean and plenty of toilet paper!

Love that place. Visited my son in Houston and it was awesome. There is one in Alabama, and I've been there too.

I wish they would have one of these gas stations at Fresno. I'd love it!

The jerky is fantastic if you don't mind paying $6 for a single piece.

That happens so much at our exit!!! Everyone leaves their car at the pump for several minutes

People parking at pumps is a nightmare everywhere. I would say it's worse for small stations with few pumps than a super station like Buc-ee's

The only thing to know about Buc-Ee’s is to go if you’re lucky enough to have one near you. It’s an adventure for me as they’re not ANYWHERE near me.

Buccees is NOT a rest stop. It is NOT a gas station. It’s a shopping experience. Plan on spending at the very least 30 minutes there

Actually one Buc-ees that trucks can go to, Port Lavaca TX. One of the smaller original stores. Used to be a couple more, but they have sold them to other chains.

As big as they are I was surprised that the one I stopped at didn’t offer electric scooter chairs for the people that can’t walk the entire store!

Yum! Barbecue, salty and sweet snacks, grease on lease! Eating at the Beaver, leads to a big butt….and after eating, just be glad that there ARE a lot of bathrooms. “Cmon in….y’alls mose welcomes! Plant yo’ fanny down, rest a spell….an tells us ‘bout yose travels! An whiles at it, eat up!!”

My sister has been to 2 locations , one in Florida and one in Missouri (per Dad's request) I wish we had a Buc-ee's closer to PA than the one in Richmond, KY.

I've only been to buc-ees 1 time in Royce City Texas. if your traveling or vacationing ya it's a nice place to stop but this Buc-ees is only 23 min from my house

Buc-ees does not hate truckers. Arch and his partner recognized that getting both semi trucks and cars can be problematic. I am a contractor for Buc-ees, and there is almost always a truck stop within 5 miles or so. Many of the truck stops have remodeled their restrooms to Buc-ees standards. Couple of other facts: There is no in store place to eat, everything is "to go", and that's also to keep the flow of people and cars moving. Some folks have said that it's a bad place to work, but I go to 6 of them every month and see familiar faces for the last 3 years.

The problem I have with this gas station I have a Lance truck camper fits on the back of my truck. Super nice fits in a regular parking lot and I pulled in one night and get something to eat and get fuel. It was late at night and eat my food in my camper and I was tired of driving. They come knock on my door and want to kick me out. Because I had a truck camper RV fits in a regular parking lot and I was very tired. It was not safe to drive, but they did not care.

In Texas you can find another reason that no 18 wheelers are allowed. I think this story just proved it true for me. Its not parking its not!

First time I actually seen one I thought that myself that's the Hilton or Marriott of gas stations can't afford that, after seeing this I might stop next time I do love Texas brisket😎

The BBQ is meh unless you like a sweeter sauce. The best items on the menu are the monster breakfast burrito and pastrami sandwich. You have to wait for them to be prepared but they are much better than the grab and go options.

I went to a Buck-E’s for the first time last month… the bathrooms were closed because of water problems. Rip.

Where I’m from, leaving your car parked at any pump unless you get gas is a no no!

1st time going to a bucc-ee's in South Carolina my brother and I were coming back from Florida and I'm pretty sure it's when our motorcycle trailer with our dad's 88 Magna on it got taken out when we left it at the pump while experiencing it for the 1st time. That's how it's done in New Jersey didn't think it was an issue. So many pumps were open and Accessible. Other than the trailer light being it it was a great experience.

I live in FL. We only have two locations and finally are getting a third. The only problem is it's still 1hr 30min away. We can have twenty WaWa's in Tampa but not one Buc-Ee's. I'm almost tempted to go on a field trip to Ocala (once it opens that is).

As a truck driver it does make me sad knowing I can’t stop at any of there locations I’m from the east coast and the only time I see this place is when I’m working :/ but I understand truckers are gross and litter like crazy !

For people that have always eaten processed junk food and are now raising their families on it, you are in for a treat. The brisket is to die for, slow roasted at point of origin, then frozen and shipped to a warehouse before it's shipped to your local gas station where it's reheated to perfection. Bon appetite!

I was looking forward to going to Buc ee's but finding out that truckers are not welcome I would not be willing to ever stop at one. No one should ever be denied what others may enjoy!

I can’t imagine a semi trying to navigate through the parking lot. They would have to completely redesign everything to accommodate commercial traffic.

I see people leave their vehicles in gas area all the time. Not impressed with jerky. Love the sandwiches, especially brisket. I live about 40 miles away, I do go about twice a year.

Speaking of mispronouncing words it's "KOH-LAH-CHEEE" not "KOH-LAH-CHAY"....you'd be mocked mercilessly in West, TX with that mispronounciation...bless your heart...

Aplin is a genius! Well, with respect to "marketing". However, if you visit there, be prepared to to feel like you've been held up at gun-point. Cheap fuel, but you'll make up for it if you buy ANYTHING else!

Original Beaver Nuggets are the same as the UTZ brand. The Key Lime cups are nasty.
