Babies born with cyclopia die shortly after birth, or are stillborn. What happens is the brain fails to seperate into 2 hemispheres, which results in the face not seperating into 2 parts either. They always have one eye socket, but sometimes have 2 eyes in the same socket. Sometimes no nose is present, but it can also develop above the eye, which is refered to as a proboscis. Mercury isnt the only substance that can cause this. This can result from many different toxic substances: Alcohol, cocaine, meth, other toxic metals like lead, and even certain medications. Inbreeding can also raise the chances of a baby developing cyclopia. It has a 100% fatality rate, there's unfortunately no chance for the baby to have a life, mainly because of the deformed brain.
I found Sambucha's age, this is how. 9:41 Coming from the death clock, he is exactly 10,031 days old, which is 27.482192 years, 0.482192 years =176.120628 days, 0.120628 is roughly 3 hours. This means Sam is about 27 years, 176 days, 3 hours old as of time of recording. Assuming he recorded 4 days ago putting this in a calendar tells us he was born on Thursday, June 13, 1996 03:56:57 PM. If he uploaded today he was born on June, 17, 1996. if the margin of error is only a few days, so he is born about June 11 to June 17 1996 as shown. checkmate Sam. Idk if this will become a video abt me uncovering his age, but if he does manage to see this that would be cool
A little sad but creepy fact about the cave explorer who got stuck: After he died of cardiac arrest, the rescuers determined that it's too dangerous for them to retrieve his body, so the best option is to seal the cave entirely. In short, his body is still there in that cave, in the same position he's stuck in.
Ah I heard that story, isn’t it called Nutty putty cave or smth? (I might be wrong XD) and I’m sure his name is John Something Edit: Sam literally said It’s nutty putty cave so nvm 😭
I don't remember when this started, but I quickly adopted the mindset of "there's MANY other things that can cause what I'm feeling" when searching up symptoms. From there, I stopped worrying about the worst case scenario.
00:01 The Dark Side of Google holds some disturbing content. 01:35 Things to avoid Googling: maggots, mouth larvae, jiggers, pressure cooker bombs, uranium 04:59 Avoid searching for Russian Sleep Experiment, Dog Head Transplant, Wet Koalas, or Ed Gein. 06:35 Worst criminals: The Butcher of Plainfield, Jeff the Killer, and a dwarf killer 10:05 Avoid searching for the dark web, Sun's explosion, and the Nutty Putty tragedy. 11:44 Avoid Google searches for cavers getting trapped, eyeball tattoo, and ballerina toes. 15:04 Avoid searching for Unit 731 or Amazonian giant centipede 16:45 Some things you should never Google 19:43 Things You Should NEVER Google 21:22 Be cautious about KFC food and chicken nuggets 24:15 Avoid googling certain things
11:21 I remember watching a film about this. It was quite sad. ... Regardless this might not even be the right cave but apparently the dude was upside down for hours on end, something to do with blood poisoning and toxins reaching his heart due to him being upside down. He died, much to many a person's dismay. I do not wish such a fate on anyone. NOTE: Found the movie! It was called The Last Descent.
as I have worked as a construction worker it really is dangerous if you don't check what is dangerous and what isn't and I have gotten my hands injured and my feet, once in my feet with a nail and once with a wall falling, we were trying to take down shit in a room without breaking the floor, and I fell due to dust, got my hand hit with the partial weight of the wall, got my hand a bit busted, it was painful as hell, since it was my first hand injury, now I think I have some nerve damage in my right hand (main hand) and I really don't want to go back there, regardless of how good the pay is, never try to work as a construction worker if your body isn't fit enough, as all of the work requires a lot of stamina & endurance. In the end never try to go there without good equipment like iron point shoes, as things might fall in your toes and break them. P.S. I tried my best on using punctuation so do not tell me I used a lot of it, I tried my best in it since English is not my native language
For your information: Babies with cyclopia basically never survive their birth, or die some time after leaving the womb. It is a rare birth defect, so don't really worry about it.
Talking about the ghost story i once went to a water park for 3 days,my mom rented a small house for us to stay in,the first day was normal,on the second day it was going to look for some sheets so i could cover myself but i couldn't find them, and i am scared of sleeping without covering myself, but i thought it didn't matter and went to sleep, keep in mind my parents were sleeping and my sister was sleeping too,and out of nowhere someone started knocking on the bedroom window, even though no one was there, and after 5 minutes i heard something coming from the kitchen, like someone was messing with the dishes,i stayed awake till 1 AM trying to sleep, that's when my mom woke up hearing the noise coming from the kitchen, and there was no one or nothing there, she gave me a sheet and said that if it really was a ghost it couldn't really hurt us, I don't know if the ghost went away but i went to sleep very quickly after that
Usually i can handle disturbing content with minor issues, but cyclopia makes me really unnerved on an innate level, one of the few disturbing things i’ll actively and consciously try to avoid.
For those who don’t know, the Russian sleep experiment was a creepy pasta (scary made up story) that image of “what the subjects looked like” is a Halloween decoration.
For the POINTE shoe one if you take proper care of your feet like putting toe pads on and covering blisters etc then you should be able to prevent your feet looking as bad as some of the photos you see
I’d LOVE to see a video of Sam visiting the dark web. He’s super calm in the face of pretty much everything and it’s just a really interesting concept overall Edit: 19:33 and I’d love to see him on one of those wired interviews too, keep being incredible Sambucha!! Edit #2: OK OK GUYS I KNOW ITS A STUPID IDEA SHEESH I JUST LOVE SAMBUCHA IM NOT A CRIMINAL I PROMISE
Fun fact: Once I woke up and a huntsman was on my blanket… just watching me sleep. Scared the hell outta me when it tried to crawl onto my face. Moral of the story: spiders hate me
5:07 bro I'm too much of an I Declare War fan idk if anyone will get this but the other images instantly made me think of the cover for 'Songs for the Sick'
Whenever I hear the phrase "Uranium Bombs", I immediately think of the lyrics Plankton sang in that one SpongeBob episode where the chipper yellow frycook tries to befriend him. So yeah, that one got a knee-slap out of me. Guess Plankton doesn't really Google that one anymore.
24:31 that's not a ghost it's motion blur/ghosting you can see that around every pearson on the right half of the picture and the "ghost" is the second guy counting from right to left if you look closely you can see that it's true the "ghost" does the same pose for the picture as that guy so it's actually just motion blur/ghosting
I am claustrophobic about caves, but for the sake of history (which I am studying), I am interested to visit them too. I have been to Wind Cave NP in South Dakota and Eagle cave in Wisconsin. I am curious to visit more.
There’s one that Sam missed. If you go to google images and type in a period, like literally just a period symbol. You will get some really strange things. But it’s weird because it doesn’t happen with other characters like a comma or exclamation point.
me and my neighbors get jiggers like every year due to exploring the woods and being outside 14/7. (TIP/EDIT- put nail polish on the spots where they're under your skin, it kills them!)
"this is the number one search that leads to anxiety in young people" never happened to me (i covered my eyes and muted the video when he said the heart disease symptoms because i knew i was gonna self diagnose, its a very long and dumb story) :)
Thee creepy looking thing from the Russian sleep experiment is actually just a Halloween prop, I had one around 15 years ago. I used to do an annual home haunted house.
7:33 to be honest, i read creepypasta lore all the time. Idk why cus half the time it psychologically does something to me but its just so good, i love the level of detail and the way they tell these stories. 20:48 the worst thing i ever found in fast food was pickles and onions and mustard.
I searched abt the Pyramids in Giza cuz I wanted to learn more (A tip from me): NEVER touch or mess with the Pharoahs' treasure cuz you'll get smth called the curse of Pharaohs. The curse of the pharaohs or the mummy's curse is a curse alleged to be cast upon anyone who disturbs the mummy of an ancient Egyptian, especially a pharaoh. This curse, which does not differentiate between thieves and archaeologists, is claimed to cause bad luck, illness, or death.
8:25 Hey, sorry you had to hear this, but babies with cyclopia don’t actually live very long and their lifespans are usually only 10-12 hours when they’re born. Many do not even survive while still in the womb. The longest recorded lifespan of a newborn with cyclopia was a surprising one whole day, about 24 hours. Cyclopia is also, I think, just the baby’s eyes both fused together because of, whatever process the baby goes through in the womb, fails to separate the yes onto two different cavities. So, no, the baby will not end up fine at all, unfortunately. What’s even more unfortunate is that there’s no cure for this, so not even a surgery or anything similar can fix this.
Even worse, for a short moment there was this disgusting rabbit hole on RU-vid shorts that NOBODY is talking about, that had to do with using these babies as play things. Genuinely one of the few things that have made me throw up and cry. A very devastating condition, even though for only a few hours, they are still human.
1:31 *gags* thanks for the warning *gags again* *runs to the bathroom and throws up in the toilet* that is the closest I’ve came to throwing up just by looking at something * coughs*(I didn’t actually throw up)
4:25 Russian Sleep Experiement is debunked. Never happened, it originated from a creepy pasta, which is a forum where people create fantastic and/or horrific stories. It is also the source for other fabrications like Slender-man.
16:25 *me laying in bed chilling on pillow* “here is What a pillow looks like under a microscope” *sees images of pillow under microscope* *puts head away from pillow*
