I’m glad someone spoke up about this! The Dangie Bros came up with so many genius ideas just for them to be stolen over and over again by other people, those people in the thumbnail constantly took dangie bros ideas from there videos.

Copying is the highest form of laziness.

I like how Sambucha has adopted his own style.

One of my recent thumbnails is continuously being stolen by other creators. What's worse is that I hand draw all of my thumbnails so they aren't exactly a quick photoshop job. Some of these creators are larger channels than mine so I literally have to compete with my OWN art. I've been asking them to change the thumbnails in comments, half of them have been good about it. Apologising and changing the thumbnails which is great. But others have either ignored my comment or doubled down and stolen more. So I've been sending copyright strikes. I hate that with how RU-vid's copyright system has been abused so often it's made me feel guilty for using it. But I'm in my full legal right. Clearly they like my art but have no respect for me as the artist. It's just gross.

I can't believe i watched the brent rivera food critic one first and thought it was good

Adam B was mentioned for like 1 second, so like… I used to watch him a lot, I used to be in his fandom. Once I spoke about the fact that all he did was copy MrBeast ideas and thumbnails (obviously not only from MrBeast but you get the point), and since I was a long time viewer I knew he could be “more creative” than that. People got mad at me, their main argument being “it’s just a thumbnail”… I even got death threats. But the point is, I feel like those creators already have a fan base that wants and will watch them doesn’t matter what, so all they gotta do is make a video and post, it doesn’t matter what it is and if it’s a straight copy from someone’s else content, people will watch, support and even defend them to an unhealthy point. So yes, the copy and paste videos/thumbnails is a problem, but so are the viewers that are so desperate to watch their favorite creators, that they just accept the poor content that is posted in those channels. If the videos didn’t get high views, they sure would stop. Cuz there’s no point of copying, if the copy would give them a low amount of views. But wait until they start to just replace faces and voices with AI, I hope people will then open their eyes and understand the real problem. (If someone read all this, thank you! You’re the real one!)
