My grandfather built a backyard for the family to gather, so beautiful that my cousin got married back there and my grandparents renewed their vows. He knew he was gonna die but hid it from my grandma to not stress her out, but he told her, "If I die, bury me in the backyard so I can stay with my family"(again knowing he was gonna die) and didnt repeat himself. You might be able to eat dog or cat but I think you could get in trouble for slaughtering them, even if you did it as humanely as possible. If you can get in legal trouble for starving or beating your pet I dont think slaughtering your pet for food would be permissible. I'm sure there is some loophole but I would suspect most prosecutors wouldn't have an issue bringing charges against someone who ate their pet. Either way it's gross. I know its cultural conditioning and arbitrary for me to be grossed out by it but we are intimate with dogs and cats in a way totally different than stock animals like cattle and it just feels wrong.

I live in Wisconsin. Here, it's perfectly legal to own a kangaroo even if you don't have a permit. In most of the US, owning a kangaroo is either illegal or only legal with a permit, and in only 2 other states other than WI can you own a kangaroo without a permit.

The one problem I have with this is that spanking in corporal punishment should really not be allowed because a lot of times parents go too overboard and it can quickly turn into a classic case of excusable child abuse, as well as many other traumatic issues like not feeling safe around your parents because they went too far such activates PTSD whenever they're around their parents and it's the parents fault for the PTSD in the first place if that does end up happening! Sleeping in your car may be legal but most areas you can park are private property and you can get in trouble for trespassing. I lived out of my car during a rough time in my life and it wasn't easy finding safe and legal areas to park for the night. Rest stops were the safest. Most rest stops in the states I've lived have a six hour time limit for parking which isnt strictly enforced so you could usually park when the sun went down and not be hassled through the night and leave in the morning. Even if a cop were to hassle you it's easy to claim that you are travelling and started to get tired so for safety reasons had to park at the rest stop and catch some sleep before getting back on the road. No cop would want to risk someone falling asleep behind the wheel so aren't going to ticket you or shue you away.

In the State of California it is legal for motorcycles to travel pass a car using the same lane on a two or more lane road or highway, but no more than 25 miles an hour over what the flow of traffic. The reasoning is many bikes are air cooled and if they get stuck in traffic, they will overheat and die. I've done it WITH Moto Officers too.
