Think For Yourself (REMIX) - The Beatles - Full Instrumental Recreation (4K) 

Another remix! When you guys ask for fixes, I make them!
Some major changes to this one:
1. New fuzz bass track. An Instagram commenter noted the sustain of my fuzz bass didn't quite match the original (i.e. I muted too strongly). Now the notes ring out a little longer.
2. Louder drums and basic track. Quite simply, I brought up the volume of the basic track (drums, maraca, bass, tambourine). Very crisp.
3. New rhythm guitar track. I received a few comments that I missed an Eb on the rhythm guitar before a transition to D. I agree! Now that part is fixed.
4. New mix. I added the RS124 to the entire track and brought down the reverb. Should add a more authentic vintage sparkle (and hew a little closer to the record).

- Recorded on Monday, November 8, 1965 in one take (hard to believe with all those damn chord changes).
- According to Mark Lewishon, the bass fuzz effect was created by the Abbey Road studio technicians: "the techincal people at Abbey Road built fuzz boxes for use with guitars. 'It was an electronic device in which you could have controlled distortion," says Ken Townsend. BUT Andy Babiuk claimes the fuzz-box used on "Think For Yourself" was a Vox Tone Bender, costing $25 then and $275 in today's money. I spent much less on mine.
- My favorite cover of this is by 325c58, a classic RU-vidr whose stuff I still watch quite often. Miss you, man.
