That break in the middle of the song always blows my mind. “WOMAN!!” lol! As usual your reactions and responses are spot on and refreshing. Chris Stapleton cannot really be pigeonholed. He’s a unicorn….Much like Chris Thile, Billy Strings, Bela Fleck and maybe even John Mayer (grinning at you) they are “other”, absurdly talented, and only once in a life-time individuals. I just feel blessed they live during my lifetime and I can experience their music.

You remind me so much of listening to music in the early 70’s. We would only have the music playing and would relax and listen and replay, to figure out what was being played, listen to the bass line, what are the lyrics, who is singing with the lead vocals etc.

Love your reactions and I always find you so helpful in listening deeper. Please react to Chris's "Joy of My Life" and "Higher" . I'd suggest the studio albums versions for these as the live versions are cell phone videos and the album versions are fantastic. Thanks so much!!!

@LeonardoTorres great reaction just sub’d! I’ll have to go back & check for your Chris reactions. He is so much better live than studio versions! He lets loose! Yes he writes his own songs unless occasional cover. He plays lead guitar, produces etc. He is amazing & his wife sings harmonies w/him which is awesome! If you haven’t please react to recent live Chris performance “2023 CMA Awards “White Horse”! It was 1st performance I’ve found from his new album’HIGHER’ just released last Friday! Thanks!
