You can never go wrong with Chris Stapleton. Never fear what you thought you hated or understood. But remember, sometimes it will grab you by the SOUL and continue with everyday life.
Stapleton makes music that just hits the soul. I don't care what your background or preferred music is, everyone makes that same "STANK" face when hearing that first "I still love you". Dude is incredible. First video of yours, great work!
I love that Chris is a student of the Vince Gill school of guitar solos, where it's not about how many notes you play as long as the guitar sings the verse/words you can't.
I saw him live 3 years ago & I honestly believe he's one of the few artists that's better live. The studio recordings are good but the live performances are next level.
The bassist is locked in as well as the drummer. A lot of this was improvised. They have been playing together for years as a trio. Yah Chris is best live. It is so bluesey.
Cliff just to give you a tip you will see a beautiful blonde lady singing with him sometimes that is his wife Morgane and she is the one we can thank for Chris Stapleton singing publicly. because he had terrible stage fright he used to write for lots of other artists and with her support he started singing live and at ACL he sang Tennessee whiskey and you could see the love between them and honestly everybody knows Tennessee whiskey but in my opinion it's not even his best song😊😊😊
*Fire Away official video and then the live version with his wife.* 95% of his songs are so much better live, because he seems to feel the energy. He's not *just* country, he's blues, bluegrass, rockabilly, southern rock mix. {edited to remove mistaken info] That is why when he performs with his wife backing him or doing a duet, it's insanely awesome.
@@joesmith5097 I don’t read things, I watch interviews, but if I’m wrong then I’ll take the knocks. It doesn’t change the fact that he was writing for others many years prior to his own albums.
@angb4132 it's a new York times interview his wife is the one with stage fright. Chris just wasn't signed to a major deal as a solo artist. Not to be rude but actually think about it, chris had to bands prior to his solo career. Jompsom Bros. And his blue grass band which is escaping me ATM. He just wasn't signed because the industry is corrupt and stupid. They have only been putting out pop country for the past two decades. He doesn't wear tight jeans with cut off sleeves ...he didn't fit the mold of what they wanted. She did influence him into doing a solo album though..I just see this comment all the time.
@@joesmith5097 I fixed it, thank you for the information. I grew up on 'old country' so a lot of the newer stuff sounds off to me. Chris sounds like a mix of artists that I'm used to.
Nice to see you really get it and like it. Great reaction. This is his best performance of "I Was Wrong" See his performance of Tennessee Whiskey also at Austin City Limits. He was on fire that night.
Either Way, Whiskey & You, Tennessee Whiskey/Drink You Away (live with Justin Timberlake CMA awards), Hold on with H.E.R. (live CMT awards) are all great songs.
If you didn’t see his version of the star spangled banner of the superbowl you need to check it out. You are doing your job when you make grown men cry
Baby makin'? My favorite would still be "Your Man" Live at The Bing Lounge. For lyrics "What Are You Listening To". For fun "You Should Probably Leave" or "Arkansas". "Barely Alive" (Bing Lounge) is straight up killer blues. "Whiskey & You", "I Won't Love You Anyway", "Parachute", "Death Row", "Starting Over", "Higher".... So-o-o many.
Chris Stapleton " Fire Away" official video. I believe it is the only video he has ever agreed to, because he was doing it to raise mental health awareness
If you haven’t seen it yet then you should check out his live acoustic version of Barely Alive. The video quality isn’t the greatest but his performance is A+
Chris Stapleton can sing just about any genre of music. Check out his duet with Dua Lipa at the ACM awards yesterday or with Stevie Wonder at the Grammy awards last year, not to mention his cover of Metallica’s Nothing Else Matters to mention just a few examples.
Cliff I gotta be honest brother, I've been a fan of yours for a few years now and I always try to show love, regardless of your reaction. I agree with ya about this bein a hip hop reaction channel but dude, this guy is on another level. I'm a country fan as well as a hip hop fan, old school of course but damn...keep doin your thing brother, much love
Maggie’s Song is a tear jerker. You’re Gonna Get Your Turn is about the Vegas shootings. Just pick anything. They’re all fire. Fire Away is another good one. ✌🏻❤️from Texas
I just watched you react to Sometimes I Cry which is my favorite live by Chris Stapleton and this one is right up there as well😊😊😊😊 my favorite recorded song by him is death row it will make you feel like you're on death row😮😮 Chris Stapleton has his own lane in my opinion he has no genre he can't fit into❤❤❤❤
I'm sure you know who he is but No Life Shaq who has a hip hop reaction channel with almost 5 million subscribers saw a huge boost, I don't want to say explosion on his channel because he had his own thing going ..... but subscribers have loved his country, metal, grunge, etc. reactions. Stick with it Cliff.
Hi honey sorry for all the comments I love Chris Stapleton he is one of my favorites and you have to check out also Whiskey and You it is so beautiful and Tennessee whiskey he did live at Farm Aid and he introduced the whole band while singing😅😅😅 and also I forget the guy's name Mickey Raphael I think and he is a harmonica player which I love and he plays for many years with the legendary Willie Nelson honestly Tennessee whiskey live at Farm Aid you have to check it out
Check out more of the 3 sisters from Mexico, "The Warning". Their live performances are the best. Here are just a few great ones: "Automatic Sun", "Hell You Call A Dream", "Choke", "Disciple", "Dust to Dust", "Enter Sandman" (latest cover), "Evolve", "More", "Burnout", "S!ck", etc...
Hey baby I hope all is well with you in Chicago it's your fan Patricia from Toronto and I don't know if you ever heard of Allen Stone he does too amazing amazing songs to start unaware live in his mother's living room😅😅😅 actually in his mother's living room😅😅😅 check out his cover of Bob Marley Is This Love live at Bonnaroo and you're welcome😊😊😊😊
@CliffBeats made Chris live performances please! Please react to his version of James Brown’s “It’s a Man’s World with the Shadowboxers”. ( band playing at the club). Chris was in audience, band saw him & asked him if he’d sing a song w/them. Crowd picked this 1! Not Chris’s band, no rehearsal & he slayed it! It is off the chain! Chris writes all his own songs unless occasional cover/tribute. He is a 1 in a million artist! A living Legend! He’s more soul, blues,R&B & Outlaw Country than just a ‘Country’ singer. He’s in his own genre!
A song I really enjoy, but doesn't get much in the way of reactions is, Daddy Doesn't Pray Any More. It's such a simple, lovely song. What Are You Listening To is another with nice lyrics.
