This aspect of Batman is the least interesting. He's not self-made. Batman would be cooler if he were a self-made billionaire. That's where we have the advantage.

Summary: 1) Meditation. Focus on one thing. Just do it for 3 minutes per day. 2) Brain training apps/programs. Two that work: Cognifit and BrainHQ. Helps with cognitive processing speed and working memory. Can be done with chess, visualizing rooms and mental arithmetic. 3) cognitive speed. Make decisions. Thought experiments and visualize different things. You can try rapping. Visualizing old room. 4) Practice what you're studying. *alternative meditation* Focus on specific part of your brain as you meditate. 5) walking is good for stimulating creativity and to have thought experiments and can be creative. 6) Image streaming 7) put brain on stress. React well under highly stressful situation. Work under these conditions. 8) video games and sports are a good simulation for stressful situations 9) keep learning and develop new skills. Your brain will be more plastic. Work on projects along the way. 10) choline inositol and other supplements. Sleep and nutrition are important

Pretty much all heroes have to be physically and mentally strong. The thing about Batman is how he's always thinking about how to beat anyone he encounters. He has come out of situations regularly that other common heroes from stories would easily die from. He's also a genius, master of so many different things, and is incredibly wealthy. The only problem with his wealth is that he isn't self-made. That's one thing that regular people can surpass him in. I'm honored to have the same initials as Bruce Wayne.

I think as VR develops we'll start seeing some bad ass people, because think about it a VR set up where you can practice fighting computer characters all day every day and then start fighting people from all over the world. If that programming gets super advanced you're gonna have all the benefits of being in over 10,000 fights but none of the damage. So that's probably an amazing way to train your brain and your body.
@sisco5153

You would still need some pain feedback. Otherwise it would be false confidence It's like training against a rubber knife than a real one the danger is essentially taken out of the equation when it is a big and essential variable

You´ll also have none of the real world fighting experience. Fighting computer characters can never teach you how to take an actual punch or how to handle the adrenaline when it´s go time against someone who might actually kill you in real life. You could certainly practice some aspects of fighting in an advanced enough VR, but there will always be other aspects that you can only learn through actual fighting.

I'd disagree. I think Batman would too. In The Dark Knight Rises, Batman is forced to climb out of a pit. He approaches it in his usual way. Only when the old doctor tells him that his lack of fear of death made him weak and that he must free climb out of the pit. "You do not fear death. You think this makes you strong. It makes you weak. How can you move faster than possible, fight longer than possible, without the most powerful impulse of the spirit- the fear of death?"

@@dogestranding5047 I think that was a dumb thing to include in the film. Fear is the thing that hočds us back. The reason old warriors like the samurai were so effective was because they knew how to handle their fears. The more fear you have, the less effective in a dangerous situation, like a fight. Batman does a lot of fine joint manipulations, be couldn't do that if his adrenaline levels were too high.

How We Know: Epistemology on an Objectivist Foundation (2014) • Peikoff, Leonard. Objectivism: The Philosophy of Ayn Rand (1991) • Locke, Edwin A. The Illusion of Determinism: Why Free Will is Real and Causal (2018) • Eds. Gotthelf and Salmieri. A Companion to Ayn Rand (Blackwell Companions to Philosophy Volume 61) (2016) • Eds. I was a little surprised about how much I remembered despite spending a lot of time in the room I'm in now. After doing that, I already feel more focused though I'm not sure it's because of that. I think it's a good thing how you consider all of these hypotheses and never dismiss of any of them immediately. @stonks1800
@stonks1800 5 лет назад
Im not bioneer but i feel like i need to point out that those stuff that you're asking about sounds a lot like pseudoscience First of all, "training" your neural system is like "training" yout veins; you can't. So if i understand your question correctly (i.e: training reflexes, etc), i guess you should first determine specifically which attribute that you want to train on. Even then, the research is still lacking in this area, people say that practicing throwing and catching small items train your reflexes and stuff, but the research behind it doesn't really mean shit. As for training "type 2" muscles or whatever; you don't. Even our current understanding on muscle fiber types is based on a misconception and error in classification; it's confusing because the research methodology was fucked up in the first place. So yeah bud, it all sounds like pseudoscience. Don't buy anything that people say just because it sounds smart or sciencey, even mine.

M M I’m no expert or anything so I may be a bit off. You just sit, lay down or whatever feels comfortable. And you just try to clear your mind, by focusing on the breath or anything you like. Breath is most common. And that is it. In the beginning you probably can sit 3 maybe up to 10 minutes. But when you keep doing it consistently you will be able to do it longer and more intense.

I love your Videos and your editing skills keep getting better. But your audio has always been a problem in my eyes (ears?). Try to normalize the sound a lot more, for example the glitchy noises in the first minute would rip anyones eardrums with headphones on if the volume is high enough to listen to your voice. Sometimes in your older Videos your Intro was extremely loud or your talking has a lot different volumes etc. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to all of your new videos!

Related to fast decision making, the Navy SEALs have a training protocol where they blindfold the candidate and remove the blind fold, forcing them to react to some event....it can be as simple as someone asking for directions, or a three bad guys with guns pointed, to a hostage situtation....

Amazing video! I think learning a new language would correlate with this perfectly, due to the brain plasticity that comes with learning a new language. Plus as many Batman fans know, he is able to speak numerous languages fluently, which would help your Batman training immensely!

Physically the closest human to batman has to be mike ohearn. His belief in the principles of wolf's law has turned him into a real life meta human. Being a former national level physique athlete myself I believe mike is the 1% that is actually a lifelong natural. X-ray and mri tests have proven Mike's bone and tendon density is off the charts. As for the mental prep you only need one resource The Art of Memory by Francis Yates. This book changed my life it was like I received a brain transplant. The books contents are not easily digestible but if you religiously apply it's methods.......life changing. Love the concept for this video series. The graphic novel depicting batman's physical regimen was laughable to anyone with real knowledge on the subject. You could tell the writers wanted to keep up a pace and not be bogged down with concepts like truth lol.

Try DMing a tabletop RPG for your friends. It's absolutely stressful when you have to come up with improvised content on the spot. You have to be describing images and scenarios all the time. You have to keep tabs on tons of stuff. Being a DM covers half of the video

I utilize Aim Lab on steam. You can do Spidershot speed 30 min or until I make a personal record (whichever comes first) on day 1, Capacity on day 2 which improves memory by showing different color targets for a short time and requires you to shoot only the one that changed color each time (same idea: Personal record or 30 min, whichever comes first) and then for day three I do either spidershot precision or play against bots in my favorite shooter game to improve me mouse precision (although if you're ONLY training for brain "strength" there may be a different training that would be better suited for you on day 3). This has helped me immensely and only takes about 90 min a week max!

agree, batman is the most op character in DC simply because hes meant to be human. Let's look through his skillset Indomitable will that exceeds most superheroes. So strong he literally willed his bones to be denser and stronger. Peak human strength, durability, speed, agility, stamina, reflexes, metabolism and senses. You would have to train decades to match him in any one of these but somehow he has managed to do it in less time and with all of them. Ranked as one of the top ten marksmen in the world Rated as the best martial artist in the world having mastered every form of known martial art including making his own. This on it's own would take a lifetime to archive but not for batsy. Weaponry, yeah hes mastered them all including firearms and is ranked as one of the best marksmen in the world. again this would take a lifetime but hes done it. Multilingual and fluent in at least 10 different languages including Kryptonese, latin and mandarin. Genius level intellect. If he were on our earth he would be the smartest person alive. This is again something that would take years and constant training. This is a list of subjects he mastered before he was 26 Biology, Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Mythology, Geography, & History. Gained degrees in Criminal Science, Forensics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Engineering. He has mastered Diverse Environmental Training, Security Systems, and illusion/sleight of hand. He gained even more degrees in Biology, Physics, Advanced Chemistry, and Technology. He has learned Forensic, Medical Sciences, Expanded Computer and Engineering Sciences. Hes an expert pilot capable of flying anything with ease. I could go on but this is already ridiculous. Everything he does he masters and apparantly in minutes. He would have needed multiple lifetimes to master it all and thatsbignoring that many of these would require either constant training or constant updating of his knowledge as technology advances. The amount of subjects hes mastered would take more than a lifetime and by the time hes mastered them all his information for most would be so outdated he would have to master them again. I can not overstate how stupid his character is, if you like the comics version of batman you are a moron and that's it. Batman is the child at school who tries to win an argument by one upping you in a game. “I hit you" “I'm super tough though so it does nothing” “Old I shoot you" “I'm also super quick though so like you cant hit me" “I said no super powers" “I dont have any i just totally trained super hard making me very good" “Ok then i mind control you" “I have a super strong will though do i can resist it" “I kidnapped your family?” “I'm like the best detective ever and know where you are just by smelling the air" “I turn the worlds nuclear stockpile on you" “I can totally hack everything though so I stop you: Do you fucking see? Batman's character actually makes me angry at how much of a fucking op shit he is. Some writers are just sitting there masturbating over this creation as they imagine themselves in his shoes. There is no intelligence or creativity in his character. It's literally a childish attempt at making a human character thay failed spectacularly by making him the best at everything. Yes he is. He is a superhuman because he has a superpower What is his superpower you ask? His countless skills Superpowers are defined as an exceptional or extraordinary ability. The fact that he can take out other superhumans with his abilities makes him superhuman.
