I'm wondering same question. I'm in Perth, pretty much been here whole life in Swan area and really getting sick of perth so been thinking of moving to Queensland this vid helps alot.
Thank you for posting, you answered my questions completely, what was occuring in Vic was just unbearable for the people, hopefully when they come to QLD, they can bring more business and opportunities to this potential state, here is a great platform to support each other rather than hatrage, keep up with the good work.
Hello from th UK, great video. We are are currently in the process of applying for an Australian visa, hoping to move my family to Queensland. Will be doing research on good areas to live. Looks beautiful there.
I doubt some employers would outsource interstate - depending which field you do. Especially IT, if thats the case, why wont they outsource it overseas - cheaper to pay the employee. Some jobs in QLD pay less than VIC and NSW. As it depends on the job you do though. Great content btw, keep it up :)
GTV, if we get flooded with southerners us QLDers will be looking for you : ) I left Sydney late 1990's and have no regrets. Thanks, great video with lot's of info.
lol... thanks mate, wish I had that kind of influence. Imagen what 500k cashed up highly skilled and highly motivated happy people would do for the Queensland economy.🤔😉
@section 83. Mate I’m from New Zealand and looking to move to brisbane. We hear so many things about snakes like snakes roaming on the cbd roads and snakes poping out of toilet seats and ceiling. Is this true? We don’t have any snakes in New Zealand.
Thanks for encouraging video. Im wanting to know more about rural acreage properties. You mentioned research a few times. Im such a newbie, how do I begin to research? Are there sights I can go to in order to find more info on places? How does one research? I have looked things up but I dont want to miss out knowing cuz I havent done this before. Can anyone point me to where to look? I would like to know about buying rural property and putting an eco-friendly unconventional home on it. Where can I look to find out the laws regarding this? Please.
I've been looking for a place online on the GC, 2 Questions, from what I've seen no one has a hills hoist on their property, why?, And should I be overly concerned about the risk of natural disasters?, flood etc
Logan is full of Bogan ha ha ha Redlands Bay, Mt. Cotton, Cleveland, Victoria Point, Willington Point and Ormiston are nice places. Logan will be my last choice. I do live around Brisbane since 2003.
My Younger Sister has recently moved to QLD from NSW she is not far from Tara. I want to move closer to her. Any recommendations on places near Tara that are good to start looking around
While I agree with what you're saying and the many the perks of living in QLD. I simply can't stand the heat so I'll be staying in NSW unfortunately. Having said that, I will be moving to the central coast from Sydney which is a better lifestyle.
@@jasonwright9405 I lived in Bellingen and Urunga for 10 years and reluctantly had to go back to Brisbane. The heat and humidity is too much. Coffs and Dorrigo had the best weather when it wasn't flooding.
Thanks about the details on the rough neighborhoods there, I'm considering to move between Brisbane and GC, which are would you recommend? I'll do flatting first to survey the area while looking for work. cheers
Watch video posters, Klimp for Sunshine Coast beach walk around vids and Underdog for Brisbane and Surfers Paradise walk around vids, both are either new to Australia or visiting Brisbane. Their vids show relaxed lifestyle of South East Queensland
as a South Australian I agree with "not a great deal of appeal" for anyone to move here....LOL, although thanks to our great liberal government we escaped the madness of the health crisis pretty much unscathed
Large chunk of Australia's GDP has to do with Melbourne/Sydney which is why people flock there. Same story as always, if there are jobs they will come. If you can find employment in a rural area or one of the cheaper states and have reliable employment you are way in front imo. We have lived in rural SA, but close to the city, for 30+ years, I have always been employed but mostly a 1 income family and not a high income. Be smart about it and you can do very well indeed.
@@mdnazmul-vm9ib Damn this is an old one. I always suggest that people look for larger regional centres that have a variety of different industries and job types. If you have transferrable skills such as a trade, nursing, teaching or whatever you shouldn't have much of an issue finding work. I can't say which is the best but it shouldn't be too hard to check out available jobs, housing costs etc.
@@oldbloke204 glad you replied me. Bro Australia is beautiful and gorgeous but all the expenses/ cost of living are increasing hell day by day. Many of my friends are struggling for savings and gets less pay for job. Also I'm coming for carpentery and currently I'm in middle east, want to shift for high wages and work remotely. So I don't have no idea which city would good for building construction and carpentery shortage. Please help me out.
@@mdnazmul-vm9ib No worries. Yeah Australia is very expensive and getting more so by the week it seems. I have little knowledge of the building trade but builders here are going bust very very regularly. Maybe just get on the internet and look for job ads etc. Sorry I can't be of more help mate. Good luck with it all.
I am priced out of South East Queensland and I couldn't buy anything decent here so I bought a lovely home in Perth!😆😆 The cost of living is high all over Australia mate but undoubtedly Perth is the most affordable City to buy a property! What I was not able to do in the East Coast of Australia, I am able to do it in Perth so I will move into my house next April in Perth!😉👍
Hay that's good to hear you got into your own place. I lived most of my life in WA so just a few tips for you. The cost of living is high there, 25 to 50% higher than QLD, so be sure to look around for the cheapest shopping centers, they vary drastically from suburb to suburb and look out for speed cameras they are every where. lol... be careful of suburbs with names that end with an A. Good luck hope you do well 👍 Ps, when I made this video houses where 30% cheaper here in QLD than they are now.
@@GTVGravityTelevision Thanks for the good advice mate!😃 I am not sure which suburbs you think about but I will live in Clarkson area not far from the Ocean Keys Shopping centre. Hopefully the neighbourhood will be ok. 😅😅
QLD housing market never fully recovered from the last bubble burst, when people went from paying 5% rates to 12% many people lost their 2 million dollar homes. Crippling QLD, that is why you can pick up a nice house in a good area for only $600,000 AUD. Because QLD is so large, it has more room to expand thus house price growth is harder to achieve. Moving there will end up being a cost negative investment for the average family.
As of July 2023 if you do not purchase a place in Queensland you will not find a place to rent because the Queensland government are hitting all the property owners that are investors with a higher tax, and at this stage most of them are selling up or selling what they can to get out of Queensland. As I am one of them.
lived in queensland for 40 years, its a men only state, drink beer fish ,go to the football, and it is so dear now so i beleive you are wrong, it was great once not any more , nsw is the best now, and there is no work in queensland, you must have got a job selling real estate ,instead of driving around wafaling on !
@@gold3084 well I don't think we really have slums per say and not all poor people are junkies but there definately are a lot of those types in poor areas and of that's your point on the location then definately say "it's full of junkies, and the crime rate is too high to safely live in that area."
