I have a standard T480. The keyboard (maker unknown to me) is okay. I had a dream last night where I typed on it so hard the keys fell off (something that actually happened to me on a lesser laptop, a Fujitsu Lifebook T935 swivelhead tablet) and that was freakish.

Sunrex the best? I don't think so - LiteOn keyboards are considered to be the best.

Well, when I was doing the research, I was told by multiple people that Sunrex was the best backlit keyboard for the T480s. I have also seen posts to that effect on r/thinkpad. But I kinda regret getting the backlit one, I don't like the texture of the keys.

I have a T430, T530, and W530. I changed-out the backlit keyboards for non-backlit as I found the backlit keys to "smooth", and when I typed I felt as if my fingers were sliding off their surface. It is kind of difficult to describe but the non-backlit key texture allows a better purchase of the keys. @@yeoldestuff
