I gotta say man, you are really incredible... not only for your talent, but this music serves as a medium for people to become introduced to Tool's great music in a form that is much easier to listen to for those who don't really like hard rock
even though I thought the part where maynard sings "in, out, in, out..." would of been the worst part in the song when transposed over to piano. I actually think its my absolute favourite part in your version. Truly amazing
Great job man. Loving the audio. Less ringing when you hit certain keys. Never expected you to play Third Eye as to other songs. I am grateful though as it's one of my favorites. Thank you.
planning on it. im gonna do all the new songs i want to do this summer first, then go back and start re-doing them. ill probably re-do all the videos though, since ill want to sync the good mp3 with a video
its close enough i think, plus this is the first time ive ever done it, im uploading another one now and i think im getting better at the whole syncing thing. thanks for the offer though
Maybe not have to necessarily remake the videos, but as audio mp3s, that's not a bad idea at all. I'd buy it in a heartbeat no doubt. Even if he was simply mailing them out himself.
has he ever done a bad job? i highly doubt it. you've inspired me to start playing piano. i know a few songs on guitar by tool so i should be able to make the jump without too much difficulty. i play almost everything by ear already.
nice combination. piano and tool! It' s very hard to composite. This is why it sounds very different and talentful. Thanks for your open mind dear friend =) Good job!
omg! i love u! this work is amazing! U have a 100%ability of musical ear!... i just cry listening 2 this song. I wish i would play piano like u! and It's true string tributes are way lower than this... KEEP on!!
You should record all the youbtube songs you have on here to a recording using this new mic, sounds very nice. Then toss them all on a CD and sell them for $5 + S/h - I'd buy a copy for sure. Or you could be a Champ and just rerecord everything and share it all ;)
1:45 this is the stuff you'd get your balls chopped off for playing way back in the day. tools rules the left hand is a little different but JC is hard to hear some times so your version actually gives it its own unique style.
If i'm not wrong... he's been playing for more than 10 years (yes... i read all the comments of all the vids)... you know... if you are planning to do new songs... why dont you try and cover a whole album? that would be a lot of work... but really awesome for us to hear lol
are you doing something useful with this talent? seriously. you play beautifully. and If you have composed your own songs it would be great to listen to them
