3rd gen Camaro project Madness. The snow ball effect of my project 3rd genCamaro. Dyno mat install. Clean and rewire subs and amp to have a cleaner look. Rockville 3200watt 4 channel amp upgrade. What starts off as a simple amp upgrade and rewire has quickly turned into another full blown project Haha. Getting the 3rd gen Irocz Ready for the cars shows this upcoming season. Project is finally getting some traction.

i have a red 87 iroc. with t tops as well. your car truly looks new. not 35 years old. good to showroom condition prices on third gens are skyrocketing.

Did you find out how the water was getting in? I had an 87 that had the same water issue. It turned out that the body seam caulking behind the drivers tail light had cracked and was allowing water to get in. I took the old caulking off and put a new bead on. Never leaked again.

That's probably a good idea to check. My rear hatch seal was torn. Ended up replacing it.

What are the dimensions of the subwoofer box? I am planning on building my own and like how yours sits lower than most boxes for these cars. BTW is those 12 inch subs?

Are tge boxes for 4th gen the same measurements as the 3rd I have a 4tg Gen f body firebird and need to build a ported box for 2 15s and can't find the information anywhere unfortunately

With the amp location where do you store the t-tops?

I just put them into the T top bag fold down the back seats and put them there for now. Eventually I plan to run the amp in the spare tire compartment.

The car was originally a flame red. I had it painted to a bright red. Paint code wa8774

You dont need a box. I did mine with a multi layer flat board that fit flush with the top of the carpet and the back rested on the trim line on the interrior back panel . The weight of the subs and board kept it in place and you could still store stuff under it.

And you can 2 12 inch subs and mount the amp in between the subs fir a clean lookand run all your wires underneath. If you lived near me i could do it on a weekend
