I love that you are supporting your son on his car journey and put him on your insurance. My mother never supported me in that way, and I ended up getting my license at 32 when I could afford to pay my own way. Congratulations on your lucky charm (3rd is the charm)
Thank you so much. My lucky charm has been holding me down so far. I will always support my son in any way that I can. He would not have been able to afford insurance if he had to get it on his own, as he is under 25 and a new driver. I made it more accessible for him. He works hard for the things he wants and needs, and I want him to enjoy the fruits of his labor ☺️
I think some people just don’t care. Their main concern is getting where they have to go and as fast as possible. Forgetting about the safety of themselves and others on the road. That’s why you have to just drive really careful
The dealership should have cleaned that car for you. You are such a delight to watch. Your voice and personality is like your my friend down the block.😊
Awww thank you 🤗❤️. It looks like they detailed the inside and gave the outside a light wash. It was better than what Honda did though. Honda gave me a complimentary “wash” the other day after I had already washed it, and now it’s covered in water spots 😅
You made an excellent choice by getting a Honda. I have the same exact vehicle (2010) in dark blue and I only have 125K miles on it. I hope it serves you very well and better than your previous 2 cars.
I feel so bad for you. You haven’t had a car and when you decide to get one, everything up under the sun happens. I’m just happy you were able to work things out with each car and wasn’t losing at the end 💫
Thank you so much. Hopefully this is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. The situation was tough and almost pushed me to my emotional limit. But so proud of myself for keeping it together and pushing through 🫶🏾
I have a Honda, and it's been good to me so grateful, they don't even make my model anymore ,The Crosstour 2010 mind you, and I'm still in love with my old faithful. Hope everything works in your favour as well.
I’m claiming this to be the perfect car for you, with no craziness going on, because if that dealer fails you again, I’m gonna have to get me a ticket to come talk to them about our Sis 😂😂😂 In all seriousness, all of this is going to work out. So glad your dad will be coming to help ❤
Also, get synthetic oil for your oil changes from now on out if you can. It may be a little more expensive than regular oil but it’s better for the engine.
Yup, I know. The car takes 5W-20 synthetic. I’m planning to let the dealership do my oil changes to make sure I get the correct oil and OEM filter. Thank you!
Save your money and avoid the "Stealership". Walmart does effective oil changes. They carry the same oil that the dealerships and jiffy lube carry (i.e. Mobil One) We're talking about routine oil changes on a 15 year old vehicle.
Girl the drama of it all. I'm glad it all worked out because that's a lot of unnecessary stress. These damn dealerships always trying to rip somebody off, especially women. They met the right one. It's good to see you still so positive
Thanks so much sis. I’m trying my best to remain positive through it all as being negative will get me nowhere. But I’m noticing how these dealers treat women. I speak up and make it clear that I know what I’m talking about and they’re not going to play me
I watched a mechanic scam video on RU-vid on how women get scammed more. Well the woman was actually a mechanic and she put in a brand new air filter before she took her car in and the mechanic actually brought her a completely dirty Air filter and told her she needed a new one. He also told her she needed I think it was spark plugs and when she asked for the old ones and he showed them to her they were not even the ones for her car. Of course the people with her really said a lot of stuff to him and he would not make eye contact with them and just kept working on his computer. I think the owner may have fired him but I'm not sure I can't remember the ending very well. I'm glad you're so smart about your car and that you have someone you can trust helping you. It's so important to have someone you trust at least know what's wrong with the car and if they can help you fix it, all the better.
This is what I’ve been learning. I swear those filters were so dirty looked like they’ve been in the car since 2009. When I said that I already have new filters to put in they just put them on the side. We shall see when I change them today if those were actually my filters 🤦🏾♀️
I had a 1991 Toyota that lasted forever, I think it finally went at 320k miles. I give it to a friend for parts. To my surprise I saw it running again. So Toyota/Honda is the way to go. I drive a Volvo now that has 160k miles. It drives like new, but they have to be well maintained to be problem free. I hope you have better luck with the Honda 🙏🏾
Heyyy sis. I’m here watching. I’m so glad everything worked out with the vehicle. Listen. Im from Florida and I use to drive in NJ. Floridians. Girl. You just have to watch videos on the driving I have to deal with. Lol. I am always a defensive driver.
Heyyyy sis. Thanks so much for tuning in and the well wishes. I totally get it. My back be hurting from sitting up so straight on the highway and watching everyone like a hawk 😅
Im glad that you can laugh throughout this. What doesnt kill you makes you stronger. Its a learning process as well. I have a 1pm oil change and maintenance today and let somebody come tell me that I need this and that done to my truck. Im well prepared for for my contact 👊
I have to laugh to keep from crying. If they told me this car was a lemon too it would’ve been the straw that broke the camels back. Oh they betta not try you 😅
Yes I'm glad you got out of that Hyundai. I was a dedicated Hyundai buyer for years. That's until I bought a '20 Santa Fe. I ended up taking in 11 times in the 8 months I had it. I escalated my problem to corporate. Long story short...I got rid of it and can't trust them anymore 😢
So sorry this happened to you. After doing extensive research I’ve realized that Hyundai definitely can’t be trusted. Constant recalls and problems. Just last week they recalled several 2023 models as the fuel pump can randomly ignite and set the engine bay on fire. It’s quite ridiculous and dangerous 😡
Sis! You have been through it! I'm so glad you've found a reliable vehicle for your needs. I can't wait for you to dress her up and feel at ease with the drama you've been dealing with. Kudos to you for not throwing in the towel, Erica!
Thanks so much, sis. No throwing in the towel. I have to stay strong and push through no matter what. But whew was it hard. I can’t wait to dress my baby up nice and treat her right, so she can hopefully treat me good in return ☺️
Be cautious of other drivers because most of ‘em drive trying to impose an accident to get money. Trust, I’ve experienced it. Anyways, stay driver safe & driving for you, not them 🙏🏾✨
Thanks sis 🙏🏾🫶🏾. I see it. Some people look like they are intentional about causing an accident. I’ve been seeing it. Just like the people randomly walking in the street 🤦🏾♀️
You sound real stupid. How I beat tf out of the car in 9 days? If you actually watched the video and listened, the engine had a recall on my model along with a bunch of other models for a specific range of years. All of the cars had the same problem- engine seizing due to metal bits left in the engine during manufacturing. Maybe you should make sure your engine doesn’t have a recall so you don’t end up in the same situation. I wonder how funny it would be then. Google is your friend 🙄
@@GlamMzMore lmao wishing bad things happen to people passive aggressively so they can see how you feel is childish 🤣 but it’s ok I sold my Hyundai and got a corvette so funny how things work Hu 🤭
