Man that looks like a ton of fun. Thank you for the video it was great! That thing looked like it never ran out of power! I was curious if you could whip it around still with the straight sideways paddles and it’s good to know you still can, I have a banshee and with paddles it gets to good of traction, it’s almost like riding on pavement. The x3 is a big investment and I really don’t like waisting money on things I’m not fully happy with and your videos and opinions are very helpful to me, thank you!
I completely understand. It is a huge investment! If you put it in 2wd it will do all the drifting you would like. That’s what is so fun. In 4wd you track really well when you want too. But if you want to get super sideways the slip it into 2WD and it just a skinny pedal tap away! Lol don’t get me wrong I think the paddles with vertical strips do help it track very well but it’s still very capable of getting sideways. I am sure paddle without the vertical strips would be even more so. I really like the vertical strips and the feeling of security it gives you when you are side hilling. Or if your going uphill on a slightly sideways slope it really helps that and the fact that the rear tires are wider with a greater offset it really makes you feel confident.
Yes still stock clutching. Just got back from Dumont again. Tires still working great. Played around with tire pressures. Found that 10 psi seemed to work best.
