You know what is funny? I am doing the immigration process from my country legally, paying all the fees, lawyers and also being sponsored by a US company that needs employees. I have to wait 3 years for my green card. I have had 4 working visas, never stayed more than I could, paid taxes and I am following the correct channels. I speak English, Portuguese and Spanish fluently and have a Bachelor's in Tourism and a great resume. Why do illegals have more rights than people like myself??

I don't understand how this is controversial. I am an immigrant to the United States. It is not even remotely offensive to me that my immigration to the United States should primarily benefit the United States, not me. I am forever grateful that I was admitted into this great country, but I never for a minute thought I had some right to come here for my benefit only.

When I came, my grandfather told me: "Us latinos like to think we know better than everybody else, but don't, if We did our countries wouldn't be a disaster" It's OK to keep some of your culture at home, but in public life, you are supposed to respect the laws and costumes of the country you are moving in. If your country is so bad, why do you want to create the same conditions in the country that is so good that everybody wants to live in it?

If throwing USA dollars at Haiti worked, that would be one of the best places to live on earth. The Dominican Republic, the other side of the same island does very well. They both started with simular recourses but Haiti's government worked hard to destroy theirs. Countless countries and private people have donated, money, time, educational, medical and building recourses etc, all to no avail. Between the corruption and entitled attitudes, nothing makes much better there. We have to stop trying to "fix" their problems and encourage charities to teach them skills to stand on their own. As a government we should be putting pressure on the Haitian government to act more responsibly towards their own citizens, stop drug cartels, and clean up the corruption.

I lived in a Muslim neighbourhood in Ottawa and there was a massive park, half for kids and half for off leash dogs. And the Muslims had NO idea how to behave around dogs. They would let their kids wander over and harass the dogs, running/screaming/taunting them, and then be surprised if the dogs actually touched them. Anyways, SOMEONE started leaving poisoned meat out in the parks and hiking trails. No idea who lol. Could have been anybody. I moved to a better neighbourhood and we lived happily ever after. If my dog had actually eaten the poisoned meat, that would have been my villain origin story.

Back in the late 70's the US brought MANY Vietnamese refugees to my home town, suddenly the neighborhood cats started disappearing, nobody told told them that they can't eats Cats here in the US, all of the families got caught because they were drying the Pelts out in the backyard in the California sun.

New York is becoming unbearable. The music is basically 24/7. Its almost 2 am on a weeknight, I have work in the morning but there's a DJ and a huge speaker 20 ft from my bedroom window. Bottles of beer and liquor are being thrown into my yard, people are urinating on my fence, breaking wooden slats off my fence to grab and bark at my dogs. Police are fed up, they say we can't arrest them or if we take them in, they'll be back before our shift is over. We pay almost $10,000 a year in taxes and can't even BBQ and use our backyard. We're depressed, we feel stuck, angry, sad, exhausted because these immigrants wont even let us sleep. Another summer is over and we don't even plant flowers in our yard anymore because we can't use our yard to have family over, watch the Yankee game and BBQ. Its been at least 5 years. What's the point of living in America if your not able to live free!!!

I wrote about this in another video, but I’m gonna say this again I know Springfield Ohio very well. I know a lot of people there. I’ve been there quite a few times over 40 years. And when I heard this, I was in awe then I called another friend of mine in Springfield and I believe it now this is absolutely the horrendous effect of culture mixing you can ever get. And I do know a lot about certain things to being retired from law. People have to realize that the Haitian culture is different than ours believe it or not. They still believe in items like voodoo and other culture ideologic items that will turn your stomach animals sacrifices, which is totally illegal in this country. I want to add that there are people driving from Haney that do not have drivers licenses nor insurance and I’ve never driven but how do they get the car? But the bottom line is you have a democratic mayor there that’s probably been promised a position on someone’s administration just to allow this, because no mayor of any city has a right mind to allow us to their citizens. In 1990 our cruise shipped stopped in Haiti, for unexpected maintenance. .and were allowed to get off around the port, which was near a food market with, fish, rabbits, chickens, dogs, cats, goats, and carcasses..of who knows what..hanging on racks of wires and covered in flies...I asked the maitre of the dining room if they bought any thing at these markets, he looked at me with a grin, and said, "no burials at sea allowed! The ship doesn't take on anything here.

I live in Panama City, FL. And the ducks in my community have declined noticeably. I observed for the past couple years and it is definitely the immigrants in my community being given nice houses to rent. So this is poaching and if a normal citizen killed ducks out of season would get fined. Third world country now!

I'm Colombian, never been to the us but some members of my family have. They wanted to live there but after a couple of years they gave up on that plan. They were much better here in terms of safety and overall quality of life. They went there legally and had jobs, and even then it wasn't the dream they expected. Hopefuly the US can fix their problems and go back to being the dream.
