Came across Third World in the early eighties when I was a baby Christian. Brought back so many good memories. They brought me so much joy in praising God. Love these guys.

I was living in a group home in the early 1980s similar to Mike Tyson, in upstate New York. No family. Third World helped me get through it. They were my connection to God, because at the time I didn't believe in God.
its crazy how alot of people say they like reggae but never listened to Third World, Johnny Osbourne or Aswad or anyone like them. They have no idea wat there missing out on. ha
The track One 2 one There's this line in the chorus paraphrased When are you going to start doing something for yourself and stop relying on someone else...... This changed me entirely since 1985 bringing the entrepreneurial spirit in me. Apart from this Third World remain varsatile and innovative blending with current wave yet not loosing the originality of the Conscious Rythm of what they've always stood for.
