So many wonderful songs from this great band, but this has to be one of my all time favourite. Up late listening to it over and over again. Big up the surviving members of this band. Hold it together....
I worked as a Paramedic in Chicago. I've seen many children shot due to gang violence. I wish this song will make its way to the ears of many who are struggling to keep their head afloat in difficult human conditions; not just in the USA but world wide. The message is in the music.

I had been to Jamaica many times in the early 80's, made many friends there and had a real meeting with the people not some jive vacation and Ye i am white american girl, like it mattered..the people of Jamaica inspired me to continue to write Books about the freedom we had to fight for everyday and the power of the people in this world. I cried many tears when i left Jamaica leaving my friends, I learned alot of life lessons at a young age of 18 when i traveled there...that was 20 years ago. This is not just an African struggle you see my brothers and sisters, this is a WORLD struggle from our government oppressing us and keeping us in the corners of the world. They do not want us to reunite, but it is evident we will do this and POWER TO THE PEOPLE I say. Love one another, be strong, keep your head up and ride on we are the Army of Freedom and everything Godly in this universe. We are going to be victorious, spirit, heart and soul people. Love one another .
over thirty years i've been following the THIRD WORLD BAND and i'm still trying to figure out how these great musical arrangements were put together. I understand a bit of music, and I must say. This is the greatest reggea band ever in my humble opinion. Especially those intros. wow genius. And CAT , well he is an amazing guitarist. I love that man and his guitar licks. THANKS THIRD WORLD FOR YOUR MUSIC CONTRIBUTION TO MY LIFE. ONE LOVE.
Yes Iyah's. The power is already within us. Some of us were deliberately distracted by the adversaries. We are all here for the purpose of raising the Earth's vibrations of protection and saving & uplifting all of Humanity.
