I remember in art school one of my professors was really cool and he says there’s a difference between like a bad critique and a good one like a good one tells you where you should improve and the one where they’re just like ripping on you and telling you, your stuff sucks without actually telling you what you can improve on. So yeah if you ever critique someone don’t just tell them there art sucks you gotta tell them like where they can improve .just hating on their art without giving any feedback isn’t really gonna do anything

I use jump paint a lot and I’ve read some of the manga at the bottom of the home page and when I saw thirdphp in the title I had to click on it because I remembered his manga timeless.

Im self-taught too...i improve alot over a year senior year highschool due my memory kinda sucks. Ngl unfortunately i dont have anime art style...im going on my own way i guess. Tho im also looking for critic bc its hard to find someone that can me the information i needed.

i think one of your main problems is that thirdphp is one of your fav artists, no offense he is good, but there are masters out there with various and different art styles and work flows to look up to. (yoshitaka amano, shigenori soejima, kizer stone and skottie young for me at the moment)

Bro kizer stone is so good 😭🙏🏾 but third one of my favorite not necessarily because of his artistic abilities purely, thirdphp, ddmarkk, itokazu taiga are all people i found in my like “training arc” and are big reasons why im able to do so much now if that makes sense, but in all reality him critiquing my art wasn’t a problem it was just cool and i wanted to share it in a video 💀💀
